It's a fantastic addition putting Mossy into the videos here. Just adds to an already brilliant channel. Just like looking at the bikes from another perspective.
Please get Mossy a long termer! Would love to hear his thoughts on this bike after having ridden it for a bit longer. Ps: I think Mossy should get a payrise up to minimum wage at least! 😂
44Teeth could end up with 20 presenters and these pair are the only two I'd want to watch. Al and Mossy together are just hilarious. And Mossy's reviews are a thing to behold!
I bought the GT Aragón a few months ago. Absolutely love mine. Don'tr really have anything bad to say about it. So useable, easy to wind on the power up top and plenty of low end grunt. Absolutely fantastic machine.
Just bought a 900 Rally Pro and swapped in my GSA 1250. GSA a more substantial bike, but have not smiled as much on the GSA as I have got on my first couple rides on the Tiger! Surprisingly capable offroad too. Great sound with stock can - not sure I will need an after market.
Superb Mossy review of the Tiger, best review out there in my mind. Just a point but when all these UK testers state that 90 per cent of these adventure bikes will not be used off road it is not actually true. 90 per cent of British riders won't be using them in the dirt but in other markets like Australia, Africa, India, and the USA a substantial proportion will be used off road, in India,Africa and Australia at lease 70 per cent will be used off road very frequently and for many miles of hard riding. More roads in the world are unsealed than tarmac. Even in the USA half the roads in some states are still dirt tracks (I rode the TAT in 2015 and came across scores of yanks on Tigers and GS etc). Even in Eastern Europe there are tens of thousands of miles of dirt roads. The problem is that testers (not Mossy but others) mix up enduro riding with adventure riding, a very different thing, a bike does not have to be as competent or light as an enduro to be a serious adventure bike, it just needs the suspension to cope with rough dirt roads carrying luggage.
Came here to see this comment. :) I was indeed expecting Mossy to say "Oi, some real tough living going on here.. and coming some shitty driving towards me there"
Pegs are really low on the GT pro but the bike is bloody quick and very flickable, front end dived a bit but that’s coming from a GS Rally. Indicator and menu switch gear to close together really and my only other gripe is you have to stop to change modes. Still it’s a light bike has loads going for it Love to try a the Rally pro ! Well done lads great review I think Triumph will sell loads !
Hey Mossy, great vid, super fun. Just wondering, as someone who is also vertically challenged, how tall are you? I have a 30" inseam and, if getting the Rally Pro, was figuring on buying the low seat (which, according to Triumph, reduces the seat height to approx 825mm, down from the low setting on the stock seat which is 850mm).
As Mossy said he'd love to ride the new Tiger 900 along with the market competitors and that's a video I would love to watch. Would be a great video once lockdown is lifted to have mid-weight adventures compared on road and off road. It's a big selling part of the UK bike market and would help guide a lot of buyers in the coming year or two.
It was said that it was left in "off road" mode the whole time. Does this mean you can wheelie the bike in that mode even though there is still some TCS? Reason I ask is I am interested in the GT non pro which does not have the ability to fully disable TCS since it lacks "off road pro" and "rider" modes.
Hi, someone told me that the payload (maximum load weight charge limit capacity) is only 169kg for the new Tiger 900 GT, its seem so low, is that true ?
Best info on these 2 bikes so far. I really wanted to decide which one based on how well that Rally rode on pavement...and how hard it was to handle that 21 inch front wheel.
Love it how these adventure bikes are taken to countries were the locals only ride mopeds. I would to see videos of adventure bike riders trying to negotiate a dirt track while being overtaken by moped with a shop built onto it with 10 members of their family on board.
Another great review, Mossy is his usual brilliant self. I'm in the market for a do anything bike, commute, tour & bit of light off roading. Once things calm down will have to book a test. Kind of leaning towards the rally pro version, ticks all my boxes and really looks the part 👍👍👍
Mossy is spot on about off-road mode saving your ass! Lets you have fun sliding the rear out but saves you at just the right moment. Good luck fish tailing with off-road PRO mode Love my 900.
Well I hadn’t seen this review before I bought a Rally Pro but man I would have run rather than walked down to the dealer had I. After 40 years away from dirt, that’s not a typo, I decided I needed to get gently back into it. Last weekend I put 350 miles in this little beast in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. I couldn’t believe how much fun it was, especially when I went through a 4x4 single jeep track filled with boulders. I blew by those guys that were walking up the hill to see what they faced LOL it’s a great machine. For the record it has 6 gears ;)
Just such quality videos time and time again 44teeth! 👍🏽 Would you say the 900 Rally Pro is closer in execution to the larger gs1250 type adv bikes or more mid-sized adv bikes like the ktm 790?
If you're comparing a 790 S with the GT and looking to mainly stay on road I'd probably pick the GT. If you want to do more offroad and are comparing the 790 R and the Rally then the 790 R will get you places the Rally will struggle. If you're just looking for easy green lanes the Rally is a very tempting proposition. Consider it a lighter GS like you suggest.
Hi there Mossy which would be better the Triumph 900 or the Honda 1100 as I ride 2 up most of the time. On a vrf1200 for the last 8 years change from my 1050 Triumph then . Cheers for any feedback.
That 900 GT Pro...what a banging piece of kit it is. I absolutely adore Triumph's line up. I'll take it with the Speed twin please. And kindly throw in the Steve McQueen Scrambler to finish! Cheers!
When stuck in tight technical off road riding. You don't need a throttle with a delayed response time. The 800 sounds like a diesel with turbo lag in comparison.
Love the uneven firing exhaust note... like a v2 down low and a v4 up high. Does this thing really redline at 13k??? or is the dash display misleading?
@@chrishart8548 that's what I was thinking. The stroke is pretty long too. Can't imagine they'd have this thing revving over 9-10k... which is why the dash display is so confusing.
Thanks; nice video. Please pass on this message to Triumph : “Triumph please offer us a Tiger 900 GT with tubeless spoked wheels; then a lot of riders (like me) would really be very interested in buying one. Why: Because a lot of riders prefer 19 inches front wheel to have more fun in twisty roads, because we prefer tubeless spoked wheels & because the Rally model is a little bit to tall for shorter riders.” Thanks; Best regards.
Just a thought mate, the 1260 Ducati Multistrada Enduro has exactly the same Akron spoked rims and the front is a 19 inch. It could well fit, maybe with minor spacer changes. Generally hubs on USD forks are very similar or the same between manufacturers. Try measuring one up and if it would fit then you could put the 17 inch spoked Triumph on the back. If I seriously consider a Rally Pro I will check out the Ducati front wheel myself because nobody needs a 21 inch wheel on a adventure bike even if you are doing serious offroad stuff (which I do) and the difference on the road between a 19 and 21 is substantial.
No Yamaha is 120° apart and the cylinders are off set 5mm to put less force on the sidewall of the bore. And the intake funnels are all different lengths give different power curves on each cylinder to complement each other. All very clever and 10kg lighter than the fz800 engine
africa twin adventure sports 1100 vs tiger 900 gt pro vs tiger 900 rally pro. which is a better bike for daily commuting + 90% on road and 10% off road usage
more stuff from Mossy please, top bloke and pulls no punches........
Mossie vids make my day for sure.
Thanks 44Tubes going to have to test ride this after the apocalypse ❤️
Bit fookin fast that fooker...
Classic.
Mossy is a great character, love his style!
Mossy... straight talking bike reviews. Still waiting for a Chad/Mossy vs Al/Chris!
@@Tom_baz 😂 Riding day and night from Edimburg to Ibiza in 24 hours, Cannonball style! That would be awesome! 😂
Mossy speaks to riders better than 99% of youtubers. His summaries are visceral. Stay well.
been waiting for this one for some time now and its my boy Mossy. Nice!

Not at all interested in the tiger but you can't beat a good mossy video 👍
Mossy, Tiger 900 vs KTM 790 Adventure R. Any chance for a comparison? Keep up the great content!
Mossy is FANTASTIC! I could listen to him ramble on all day! Best reviews - BY FAR - of any motorcycle channel! Thanks guys, keep up the great work.

Mossy is the best and most entertaining bike reviewer I have come across. Brilliant!!
Class bike review, laughing as I'm self isolating!
Mossy...what a legend! Love this bloke!
these father and son videos are so cute
It’s a before and after. The life cycle of a biker.
Hands down trust this man’s opinions more than anyone else on YT
Great review thanks. I'm more depressed after watching as I've a GT on order and who knows when I'll get my hands on it lol

Mossy always creates great entertainment with fantastic enthusiasm. MORE.
Finally! Been waiting for the 44 Teeth review of this bike and it didn’t disappoint. Great stuff!!!👍🏻

just hit the treadmills beforehand
Great chaps, I could listen you two all day thanks in these shi#* times!
Hearing that voice and accent 1 second into the vid - instant 👍
Mossy your so right about the corporate description it’s unnecessary, keep it simple !

The editing at the beginning is absolutely brilliant guys 👍
Rally Pro or KTM 790 ADVR ?
loved the vid. Mossy is fantastic. thanks for sharing.

great video guys, can wait to test one out , when the bike shops are open , stay safe
Did you drop clutch to disengage cruise control and engine screams. That can't be right?
Is the Rally Pro OK on road or miles better than the 800
When stuck in tight technical off road riding. You don't need a throttle with a delayed response time. The 800 sounds like a diesel with turbo lag in comparison.
Haha ... Loads of honest feedback, with humour. First 44Teeth vid I've watched ... look forward to more!
This guy Mossy is exactly the type of person we need 😂
Absolutely brilliant,thanks guys!
"I dream of the minimum wage!" LOL!
This will be my next bike. I hope it is soon too! Great, honest interview.
That was the best review yet... It was like listening to Roy Chubby Brown doin' t'fookin test.
Just the sort of thing I want next. So, I'll sell my Street Triple, buy a mint Tiger 955i & trouser around € 13k.
Cheers Mr Mossey.
"There's some tough living going on here." I'm dying, don't know what's wrong with me 🤣
HANDS DOWN THE BEST REVIEW VIDEO I’ VE EVER SEEN !!!! MORE MOSSY PLEEEAAASSSEEEEE !!! 🤣🤣🤣 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Right this Question has probably been asked but since I’m late to the table Is it Rally Pro or GT Pro for 99 road 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
Nice one Mossie, cracking review as always..
Top man that Mossy really enjoyed the interview cracking.
Great review 👍 mossy cracks me up with some of the things he says. I'm easily persuaded so I'm staying clear of the dealership for a while😂
I had no interest in this bike before watching but now suddenly I want one! Great review
Well held Mossy - full lock & back brake 👍😀
Love the uneven firing exhaust note... like a v2 down low and a v4 up high. Does this thing really redline at 13k??? or is the dash display misleading?
It won't be worth getting near 13k it only makes 94hp for a 900cc @ probably 8000rpm or less.
@@chrishart8548 that's what I was thinking. The stroke is pretty long too. Can't imagine they'd have this thing revving over 9-10k... which is why the dash display is so confusing.

Enjoyed every bit of this video, and mossy yo maaan you are good!!
so THIS is a bike review.. top notch, keep it up
Did anyone else notice the truck lifting its front wheel at 9:28
So is the crank setup the same as the Crossplane in the Yamaha?

Mossy the man, 44T you got to give Mossy the possie in doin more reviews
Top honest review, might be my next bike or XR900 ?
africa twin adventure sports 1100 vs tiger 900 gt pro vs tiger 900 rally pro. which is a better bike for daily commuting + 90% on road and 10% off road usage
Me thinks it's time to hit up the local Triumph dealer. Top video guys.
Really good review. Really liked all of the shared perspective.
Mossy at his best !
That statement should be put on t-shirts: "Motorcycle electronics are better than hospitals...".
