  • A tinnitus (ear-ringing) patient is expected to listen to the video three times a day for consecutive 90 days. The play volume should be a comfortable volume to the patient.
Please note very loud volume may damage hearing in long term. Please refer to OSHA guideline to set safe volume for hearing protection: www.osha.gov/l...
As introduce in the Nature paper "Multisensory attention training for treatment of tinnitus"[1], "Tinnitus is the conscious perception of sound with no physical sound source. Some models of tinnitus pathophysiology suggest that networks associated with attention, memory, distress and multisensory experience are involved in tinnitus perception. "
    [1] www.nature.com..., "Multisensory attention training for treatment of tinnitus", Spiegel D. P., Linford T., Thompson B., Petoe M. A., Kobayashi K., Stinear C. M. & Searchfield G. D. , Nature, Scientific Reports volume 5, Article number: 10802 (2015).
Following the above principle, auditory and visual integration is used by this TH-cam video to provide a temporary relief to tinnitus or ear-ringing.
The ocean sound is modulated by a specific waveform that can help re-organize the neurons of the auditory cortex, which may help reduce tinnitus for patients.

Seems ok. My tinnitus reduces but after several hours it comes back again and shifts to the right side of my brain. Will listen again tomorrow to see what happens.

I’m sorry to hear about your long-lasting tinnitus. It’s important to consult with your audiologist or otolaryngologist, as many causes of tinnitus can be treated with medication or surgery. If your doctor diagnoses you with “subjective tinnitus” and no other treatment options are available, you might consider binaural sound masking. Some people find this method effective in managing their symptoms.
It’s worth noting that about 10% of the population experiences subjective tinnitus. While it can be very annoying, it doesn’t cause physical harm. Futhermore, our auditory cortex has the capability and neuroplasticity to adapt and ignore the tinnitus over time.
Best of luck, and I wish you a speedy recovery!

Sorry to hear this. In clinical research literature, it is not uncommon to observe that different sub-groups of tinnitus patients respond effectively to different types of sound therapies, e.g white noise, pink noise, high-band noise, low-band noise, modulated noise, alpha wave music, etc. Can you please listen to this music th-cam.com/video/N2lGGLWK7mU/w-d-xo.html Hope you have a relief and good recovery!
