I've been watching this channel for several years, and loved it since I lived in Boulder and thought it was so cool to have a local car channel. But these recent Nissan ads are the most egregious thing I've seen from an automotive channel; I've never seen a channel not disclose the relationship with a manufacturer, let alone run a whole corporate ad in the middle of a review for a different brand.

Honda in my eyes will forever have my gratitude as the 2009 Honda Accord I owned not only made it to 260k miles , sadly driving home on the hwy 2 months ago a 12 point big buck came out of nowhere and I hit it at 75mph that car completely saved not only my body but also my life. I walked away with zero injuries. Air bag deployed all the crumble zones in the front of the car worked and absorbed the entire impact of the crash. Not one single window smashed or broke. I will forever look at Honda as a life saver and a future buy when I'm in the market for a vehicle.

Yes! They even get rid of those nasty hydraulic lifts for the hood, and give us a PROP ROD!! How classy is that! And thanks for putting those noisy, slingshot CVTS in there instead of a real 8 speed automatic. I mean Cvts never last as long as an automatic transmission, so we get to visit the dealership again..YAY! Panoramic sunroof?? PFFT, you don't want that, here, we'll give you one like its 1985!! And although most manufacturers are integrating the infotainment screen lower into the dash, we'll pop this one on top like it's 2010. And best of all, drumroll please.....we give you a measly 36.000 mile bumper to bumper WARRANTY!! WOO HOO. After that your on your own.....Nope, no way, better sedans out there for less.

Honda has pushed to 2.0t NA on all Hybrids. The only 2.0t cars will be the Type-R or Acura's A-Spec versions. So we will have to shell out $40k to get the 2.0t in a car moving forward. Sad because it is a wonderful engine design with tons of midrange power. They really need to build an Accord Hybrid option with the 2.0t, but Honda's eCVT cannot handle the 250HP+.

I wonder if this is the same hybrid system as the new Civic. What I mean is there would be no gearbox and the car would run on electric motors 99% of the time, while the engine is used to recharge the batteries. However, upon reaching highway speeds it would clutch the engine with front wheels, while el. motors act as regen (when you let off the gas / decelerate). I know it sounds complicated, but it's also clever.
