That Cummins needs to be in front of a 8spd. Come on Dodge let’s get it done. I’m still driving my 2005 2500 Quad Cab 4x4 because I don’t think you have made a better truck sense then.
Expect for the piece of junk CP4 fuel pump that can disintegrate with no notice and destroy your engine. GM got rid of that POS in 2016 and RAM finally stopped using it in 2020. Ford is still using that pile of junk. It’s no surprise that the CEO of Ford came out last year and said that it would take a long time to fix the quality control issues that Ford has ignored for years.
The in-line 6 is objectively better balanced. The power concaves are objectively better. The airbags may be objectively better, but are sometimes prone to failure. The exhaust brake is objectively stronger. Everything else you said about the Ram was strong opinion! You said “I don’t care what you think, this console is better”… this is only one of many subjective opinions you offered. That’s not super helpful besides letting everyone know which things you like better. It’s better when you actually compare things, not only on one trip, but in several different ways. You did compliment some objectively better features on the other truck, but kept heaping praise on the Ram to what, help people make informed decisions? Love you and your content, but argh!
Yeah, I guess You could say at the very top trim levels, Ram might be a little better. But I would argue, that for Us Average Joes, that will probably buy a lower trim level. I respectfully disagree. I could literally buy one trim package higher, (LTZ loaded), than the Ram Bighorn for almost the same price. The payload on the GM was higher, almost 4000lbs. Let’s not even talk about what a joke the Ram 2500’s are when it comes to payload. Now I love the Cummins engines too, but an engine isn’t much without a transmission, and unless You’re a Hotshot Trucker, that tows everyday, the GM and Ford 10 speed transmissions are a much better tool, for all-around drivability. The standard box on the Ram is the smallest in segment. I do use My truck to haul things, and with a crew cab, a long box really makes in-town driving/parking a pain. The GM is a good compromise with Their longer standard box. With those standard box vehicles, the GM has a larger fuel tank and DEF tank, not much larger, but larger. I think You’re just trying to stir the pot, and get Your post count up!
$17k more, for that? Come on JB get real lol. Ram has took the crown from Ford in absurdity in trucks. They’re asking the most money for basically a 2010 model truck lol. They are 2 generations behind minimum.
GMC Denali has a gas engine option. Ram Limited does not. GMC Denali has a regular cab, double cab, and crew cab options - each one with short or long bed. Ram Limited only has the crew cab option (short or long bed).
Is cool… dealer sign paper and promised I will keep price of $102k from when I ordered, so let’s see if they keep their word. And hopefully some incentives come available
Until Ram gets away from the 6 speed it will never compare and BTW as a Ram owner the Fiat junk that the Ram is cobbled together with is ridiculously unreliable! Cummins is no longer Cummins its Fiat and thats why I have all GM products now. Best looking? Well hard to see it inside the dealership repair bays. Interior may be "pretty" but thin sub par materials. Independent front light years ahead!....and link coil rear on a heavy duty truck for towing!? Duramax Exhaust Brake is actually just as good if not better than the ram when using cruise control. Then there was the Price. C'mon man!
I bought a '24 GMC AT4 2500 with the Duramax. I will say the GMC is not nearly as nice as my '22 Ram was, but the price difference made it a way better value. I did hear that GM will be or just did raise prices on the '24 model trucks. All of these trucks are over priced, but Ram and Ford have lost their minds.
My opinion is the Gm is a bigger and handles the big loads better. The 10 speed makes up for the torque difference easily. The Ram has the better exhaust brake.
I have a 23' GMC Duramax and a 24' Chevy Duramax and had a 17" Cummins. The exhaust brake on the Duramax when using the cruise is actually better than the Rams.
@@STEEL.AXL1Right. Cruz using your cruise when decelerating an off ramp or in traffic or in slippery conditions make lots of sense. Excuses, excuses. Ram for the win.
@@STEEL.AXL1 Absolutely I do. And I use cruise control when necessary. However, cruise control has nothing to do with an exhause brake doing it's job. The Cummins exhaust brake works effectively at highway speeds as well as 10mph.
Can’t believe they are still using the crappy Firestone Transforce tires! My 2013 had them, and I think they are one of the worst tires I’ve had on any of my trucks. They also look bad too. Maybe that’s just my experience though. So if you don’t like the tires, then you have to drop another $1500 on top of the overpricing of the design that looks similar to my 11 year old truck 😬
I don’t get it, somehow the ram just makes every other interior look cheap, especially when we’re talking Longhorn Limited.. It’s the oldest interior and still #1 GOAT
First time I touched the interior door handle on the highly coveted “limited “ ram I felt like it was gonna snap off in my hand. Felt like one of those hollow chocolate Easter bunnies. You know what I am talking about when you take a bite the whole thing shatters . That’s the quality I felt in the ram.
Oh come on JB stop acting like you're a Ram Fanboy anymore. You have a not 1 but, 2 Chevy 3500 HD's trucks. 😂😂😂😂 I like the interior of both Ram and the GM trucks. Not much if anything has changed with Ford HD trucks. To bad you can't get a 50 gallon fuel tank, airbags on the GM trucks. It is also to bad you can't get an Allison transmission with the Cummins or a 10 spd transmission on the Ram. Nice comparison of both trucks Brother.
GM has narrowed the look and feel of their interiors but RAM is still ahead (what is Ford doing besides nothing), way ahead. Looking at the Denali you have in the video, the wheels, they really caught my attention and not in a good way. I know it is subjective but really, the wheels look like something off a circus clown car. Am I the only one thinking that? As far as the engines, they are so close in power (Ford included) it would not influence my decision. What would really influence my decision is the cost of ownership over time and file milage. I tow under 17K pounds.
Ram may initially “look” nicer in interior (your option) and that all goes away with the cheap plastic feel and materials used. GMC is a better overall truck hands down. For years ram had built very poor quality that comes to light avout 60k miles with issues sqeaks rattles and door sag.
Ram got poor paint work.on them bumbers . They cheap like theres no tomorrow. Take it to any forestry roads or gravel roads or even hwy it will get cheaped so badly. Sometimes, i think even if u get paint chips from mosquitoes or flies on hwhy. Have different paint or something other than that i like it.
do you not know...that a cummins indeed also has a harmonic balancer🤔 maybe stick to your opinions on interiors and and the tow hooks... do a little more reseach on how engines work before trying to give your "opinion"
Given the trends, I’m willing to bet the next generation of GMCs will have 7’ tall grilles. Thing is absolutely hideous and the lines of the truck have about as much creativity as a Honda pilot: designers started with a big box then GMC says,”STOP RIGHT THERE! It’s perfect!”
You really need to know trucks. That duramax out tows that ram all day long.... ram gen 5 cummins has issues... You should talk to real diesel guys and shops. Cummins is not the best...
Calling anyone a “fanboy” is pretty rich coming from a RAM fanboy and salesman. I’ve seen MULTIPLE “reviews” that you’ve done where you somehow find the high end RAM model but for some reason you can’t find a comparable high end Chevy, GMC, Ford. This is nothing but a RAM Fanboy propaganda channel.
You're either blind or your willingly ignorant. The guy has over a dozen 2024 Denali videos on his channel and you can literally search up "VS" and find just about every comparison between RAM and GM/Chevy is on equal footing; the Denali "Ultimate" is a new trim level that's above Denali which is equal to RAM's Limited trim so don't think about making that bogus claim, and Ford only just started delivering trims above Lariat for their newer HD line-ups, you can do the research yourself, they couldn't even honor all the 2023 Limited buyers.
Denali fake leather versus true leather. Soak Ram leather with chemical guys' leather cushion ointment. It feels better and looks better than leather. Leather dashboard, You can smell the leather getting into the truck a Ram. Not GMC! GMC leather feels horrible, even with the leather lotion applied. GMC fake wood!
Nothing fake about the Denali leather. In fact the Denali Ultimate takes it one step further and uses full-grain leather seats (full-grain is considered the highest quality leather available). Also nothing fake about the wood. Both the Denali and Denali Ultimate use authentic, open-pore wood. Denali Ultimate goes one step further with laser etched open-pore Paldao wood.

Let’s just say your wife’s not with you and you are towing a trailer🎉 best line a TH-camr has ever said in history😂 also great video
Illuminated white RAM grille emblem 🤌
Diesel pick-up is not recommended in the Gulf Region. Gas Patrol GMC
Great video!!!
I think my sport edition has that midnight beat! Wish I could attach a picture!
Very well done!
That Cummins needs to be in front of a 8spd. Come on Dodge let’s get it done. I’m still driving my 2005 2500 Quad Cab 4x4 because I don’t think you have made a better truck sense then.
The second and third best trucks.
Agree, Ram Limited is still the nicest interior. But, the Ford Powerstroke with the 10 spd is definitely the best all-around diesel on the market.
Well done video.
GM is bigger and a better Truck!
Thank you
Man GMC Sierra & Silverado shuted up Ram & Ford F50's
Isn’t the Alison just in name only? I thought GMC just licensed the name. It’s not designed by Alison right?
It was tested and validated by Allison before they put their name on it, but yes, it’s built by GM.
If the Ram was the same price it'd be a tough decision. Please tell me there you see $17k more worth of truck?
107 thousand 😮
$17k more, for that? Come on JB get real lol. Ram has took the crown from Ford in absurdity in trucks. They’re asking the most money for basically a 2010 model truck lol. They are 2 generations behind minimum.
In regards to looks GM looks 1000x better
GMC Denali has a gas engine option. Ram Limited does not. GMC Denali has a regular cab, double cab, and crew cab options - each one with short or long bed. Ram Limited only has the crew cab option (short or long bed).
I ordered a FULLY LOADED 2024 Laramie 3500 HO DRW should arrive around late October and window sticker online says $107k 😩
They say that one is born every minute. $107K? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I am sorry
Is cool… dealer sign paper and promised I will keep price of $102k from when I ordered, so let’s see if they keep their word. And hopefully some incentives come available
JUST A DENALI 😅 MY 2024 IS AMAZING
C'mon man!
Sit down Ram. You are nice but you can't compare.
Seats still stiff as a board? I have a 20 Denali 2500 and they are horribly hard.
You don’t drive long distances or tow much do you.
GMC looks better ! That’s just my opinion.
TFL just nuked that GM 6.6 lol gotta watch that towing vid
They just did the 6.6lL towing test on the gas engine…
@@Alexander-fr1kk so then you saw the problem
@@sly9263 oh yeah, GM has NEVER put an adequate gas engine in their HD’s.
@@Alexander-fr1kk FYI the 6.6 gas with 10 speed smoked the Gas Ram on IKE…
@@Alexander-fr1kk technically GM never even put in a diesel engine, lol
Twenty years from now the RAM will still be hauling and the Gm will be in the junkyard.
If you are a nerd like me, look at the statistics and the most reliable heavy duty truck is the GMC 3500
Ram may initially “look” nicer in interior (your option) and that all goes away with the cheap plastic feel and materials used. GMC is a better overall truck hands down. For years ram had built very poor quality that comes to light avout 60k miles with issues sqeaks rattles and door sag.
That rams of past. The 5th gen’s don’t have those issues. Not sure about these HDs though
say you dont know what a harmonic balancer is without saying you dont know what a harmonic balancer is....
GMC is the Best
You right without that engine it’s just an outdated Fiat.
RIIIIIIGHT 🤡
It’s not even fiat anymore
And the Cummins engine has absolutely zero history or design influence from Fiat. 🤡 indeed
@@slidewide1999 what does that mean
Ram got poor paint work.on them bumbers . They cheap like theres no tomorrow. Take it to any forestry roads or gravel roads or even hwy it will get cheaped so badly. Sometimes, i think even if u get paint chips from mosquitoes or flies on hwhy. Have different paint or something other than that i like it.
do you not know...that a cummins indeed also has a harmonic balancer🤔 maybe stick to your opinions on interiors and and the tow hooks... do a little more reseach on how engines work before trying to give your "opinion"
Try HOTSHOT with GMC 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Dont apologize; lol. Ram cummins is better period.
Its Allison approved not a true Allison
Doge are very 😊
Made in USA: GMC 2500/2500 👍👍
Made in Mexico: Ram 2500/3500
Nope!!!
Denali Ultimate goes one step further with laser etched open-pore Paldao wood.
rams made in Mexico no thanks
The cummins ram will b running for a million miles , hot shot running. Those junks duracracks blow up anytime after a 125000 miles. I know of 6 duracrack truck guys in our company that had engine meltdowns after 125000 miles, we have a bunch of ram guys with over a million miles on there trucks, so for long haul Ram cummins is the only truck worth having . ford powerchokes suck 2
Dude....10 gears vs 6 is never a comparison!!!!! If you look at real tow vehicles/ tractor trailers, you never see a six speed. As much as I like the Cummins diesel, the v8 diesels are used WAY MORE!!!!!!! Your clearly a dodge guy, just admit it.
