Hey man, been watching these videos from the beginning and love your style of pov 👌Really enjoyed this with that clean cut new part of the station, so crisp, and then outside those tones are sick. I'm a landscape photographer from the Uk & have tried some street/urban in the past. Im looking at coming over to NY early in the new year, these pov's have inspired me so much to get out here. Keep it up !!! 👊
I just ordered the Sony 14mm GM. I have a trip to Arizona booked and maybe hopefully book one to NYC within the next 6-12 months. Can’t wait to bring it along on these trips. Great POV, btw.
I had a chance to do a bit of street photography 12/36/2023 but two things hindered me. (1) Since Christmas was on a Sunday, Monday was an observed holiday and the streets were mostly empty. (2) It was SO COLD! Although my body and legs were okay since I was well covered, my fingers on the shutter button suffered. Can't wait to return to NYC either during the summer or winter.
@henrikhiilamo6191 that’s a dope starting setup man. I started with the a7iii and a 24-70, those lenses are so versatile. Love hearing that you enjoy the content man 🙏🏻 thank you for following
I find myself coming to watch your street videos when I’m lacking inspiration. The overall feeling of the photos and the videos makes me want to go out and shoot.. just gotta finish the video first! Haha.
It really depends on what your trying to achieve. During the day you’ll have more light so you’ll use a fast shutter speed if you want to use your lens on fast aperture like f2.8. At night you’ll need more light so using a fast aperture will allow you to keep that shutter speed up. After the basics then you can adjust those for artistic styles. I like using fast apertures like 1.8 and 2.8 to create a shallow depth of field in my photos. If you’d like to learn more look up the exposure triangle theory and that explain what to use when. I hope that helps

I absolutely love your photography and your editing style and it's something I would like to replicate in my own photos. Keep it up!
Thanks for reaching out man i appreciate it
@@PhotoTripps23 I recently got a A7 III with a 28-75mm f2.8 and you've had a big influence on me and my street photography

@@PhotoTripps23 would you recommend getting a 70-200mm like the Tamron 70-180 f/2.8? I could get it for 700€
Good pov. I wished you would’ve included a shot of the open ceiling in the new station.
18:44 that was brave of ya. i dont think I couldve done it lol.
love your videos!! 😍

Hey man I appreciate the kind words Carl 🙏🏻
Da 👮♂️ throwin up dueces ✌️🙂
“maybe it’ll make me famous and fabulous” 😌💅🏼
Last thing I thought he would say
Try going to Chinatown with the film camera at night
another sick video, i’m wondering what the orange thing on your camera body is?
L bracket for the tripod
How do you know what Shutter Speed and what Aperture to put for each photo. Im a beginner still learning these settings.

Nice page man! Where did you get your wrist holder for the camera?
Thanks brother, yeah I got it on Etsy. The store is called PGUK they got a bunch of options
you should make a settings vid for streetphotography for people who wants to get better i know i do 🙏
I could do something like that 👍🏻
13:18 nice shot
yo dude u should get the new sigma 60-600. not a fast lens but gives u crazy flexibility.
I know I’m constantly switching out lenses but I can’t give up my fast glass
I think Tamron make a 35-170 f/2 which is pretty crazy honestly
How long before ya think the New Yorkers "dirty" up the joint?
I give it 3 months 😂
Very interestin seein this as a dude who lives in a city with horrible public transit.
Do you turn off VR when your camera is on a tripod?
Yeah most of the time I turn off steady shot with my tripod. I have it programmed to one of my custom buttons
you concentrated on some things that one has never properly observed before. How about details of the Empire State Building?
If you check out my pov titles high above New York I have some cool shot of the Empire State Building. I should go back tho a do a video on it
@@PhotoTripps23 Yes, shots of all the interior architecture.
Got a question. do you make money of your photos or do you shoot just as a hobby? I'm sure that equipment is expensive?
I’ve made some money here and there but it’s more of a hobby right now. I’d like to create a business With photography at some point
Buying older used gear is the way to go. Much cheaper way to get into photography and it forces you to learn the basics.
15:21 :D
