My uncle bought me a PS1 rip-off 15 years ago and it was amazing for me! Not everyone could buy real PS1 consoles at the time, even for real 8-bit Nintendo consoles, so people bought these rip-off products. Well thanks to this modern era when we can play games from mobile phones.

Found my actual real SP for just $10 at a flea market. Few scratches on the shell, otherwise, screen was perfectly fine, played nice. Same place i found final fight 2 in box with manuel. Also found a Wii, and Dreamcast for just $15 each in the same thrift store. Again, nothing wrong. Except for a missing cord from the wii. Which i bought at another flea market. The guy who sold me it also told me to pick out 4 ps2 games for free. So i did. Another time, i bought a few ps2 games, and he just gave me the original zelda for nes for free. The price sticker is still on their for $25. The cartridge was all scratched up, but it worked fine. That same flea market is also where i bought my sega for just $20. The guy threw in a few random things like a sega game, snes game, saturn controller, few genesis controllers, few plug n plays, and extra crap. Everything worked great. Another flea market i found tomb raider relevations mint in case with booklet, and def jam ffny for just 5 bucks. Resident evil 2 b-side for $1, (which was the exact one i needed since it was missing). So yeah, i get super lucky when it comes to games. There was a store going out of business that was selling those retro plug in plays that went for $15 - $30, for just $2 - $4. I bought one of each. I won't argue with that sort of luck.
I think it'd be really really cool to see a game room comprised of all the fake game consoles that look like real ones (like the WiNi and all the PlayStation ones)

There’s 2 things in common. Either these consoles only play 8-bit games (a “famiclone”(a pun of famicon, a Japanese NES, and clone.)), And/or some parent bought these for their child to shut them up.

Like having the ability to spawn infinite number of bombs and becoming a kamikaze one since once youstarted to spawn not only the number of bombs but the infinite amount of explosions your character generated you could lose if you lifted the finger on your a button. Or in battle city you had one version with the enemies grabbing all items lol :)
One thing you didn’t point out about the PS4 knock-off was the fact that they only included 1 controller when the box even advertised that 2 controllers were included.
I'm fairly certain I remember the memory stick coming with it. I know the case it was in broke right away and so you stored the memory stick in the fake X Box.
My grandmother was a manager for JC Penny’s and would buy all of my birthday and Christmas gifts from the store. One year for Christmas she got me this small handheld that ran off of two AAA batteries that was the exact OS and games of the mini poly station 2. It was nice for a six year old who had never had video games before. I would take it on trips and play 1 but tanks or racing all the time. Then it finally broke when I was about 16. Memories.
Now a days you can play so many games on an emulator on your phone/computer/tablet etc. which leaves the bad emulating "consoles" pretty much in the dust. But it's interesting to see some of those fake consoles
i saw some snes or nes fake consoles and 620 games it says on the package, but in reality is 400 unique titles, which is i think one of the best ones, in terms of value, if its any good i dont know, but i think its worth the like 30-40€ or so, or $ hm i dont really remember now, anyway, i went through the list of games and noticed, that the first 400 games are unique then its starts to repeat, but ina clever way, 401 is not the same game as the first game on the list, but its like the 75th on the list and so on mixed and mashed above the 400 mark and if u not carefully examining the list u might think there is really 600+ games there :), still 400 is rpetty respectable i think, way better then this lot of consoles here and cheap too (this might hit the BEST fake consoles top 10 list, cause i think it is)
