“minivadr” is a real game taito made to comply with Japanese arcade laws revolving around an arcade machine always needing to come with a functioning game. It’s basically space invaders challenge levels, and I assume the single level only has one enemy due to this

NO SIGNAL
When I looked at the thumbnail I thought that it was the portable multimedia plater on peter knetter's thumbnail of bootleg videogame consoles BUT it was a completely DIFFERENT CONSOLE with a different box and a different operating system...and I don't think it has a camera.
SO THERE ARE THREE DIFFERENT BOOTLEGS OF A PS VITA WITH A SWITCH RECOLOR.
14:59 Shane transformed into Eric Cartman.
That's what I thought too!
_and people wonder why I think Shane kills people whenever he gets done reviewing a terrible bootleg console..._
SELCET is now a meme.
Make it so.

Orville Redenpiller this reminded me of the simpsons episode where homer’s computer says: press the any key, where’s the any key?????
Man, the "no signal" always came in the worst times...
I've been binge watching your content over the last several days, it's really been helping me as I've been going through some tough times mentally. Genuinely one of the best channels I have ever had the pleasure to watch, just wish I found you sooner!
This guy’s acting is so good, I swear he’s actually losing his sanity in real life after playing these consoles.
Acting?
@@TheSmart-CasualGamer You must haven't been to TH-cam alot. Most internet personalities at this point have to act to stay popular.
Ze_eTPlays Wooosh.
@@Ze_eT Dude, it's a joke. Of course he's acting. Thanks for ruining it.
And I've been coming to TH-cam since '07 man, I know how this site works.
@@TheSmart-CasualGamer If one guy replying ruins a joke for you, that is not really my problem. I still agree that I missed the joke, but you aren't any better.
Wait, why did you wait 7 months to reply?
3:29 Oh great, they stuck a broken camera from 1848 onto this crazy piece of... NO SIGNAL
I’M EARLY TO A “WORST EVER”????
I’M EARLY TO A SOULJA BOY WORST EVER?😨?😨?😨?
Indeed
I’M EAR-
*NO SIGNAL*
No
ME TOO!!!
I figured this was going to be about the Nanica Smitch!
If I can find it I'll cover it. However it's been really really hard to track that system down.
@@rerez Go to Latin America, the place where they're sold
@@rerez Speaking of joke consoles, don't forget that the Laughing Joking Numbnuts Video Art deserves to be in this series because it's an insult to the term bootleg.
@@zyzzy-ko4ww Is that a -Jojo- AVGN reference??
@@SEiMEi_EXiSTS Yes, and it's his least favourite console because it's the worst MS Paint ripoff ever.
NO SIGNAL is fularious and all, but that noise coming in with the fuzziness in the image is actually pretty damn creepy.
8:57 I'd like to see what an arcade version of MS Word looks like. Might be for when you're at the arcade and realize that you forgot to type your book report for school due tomorrow morning.
Nintendo going after ROM sites that aren't even selling anything.
Meanwhile...
Chinese copyright law is beyond lacking. It's impossible for Nintendo to do anything. On the bright side, all ROM sites need to do is buy Chinese servers.
@Chaos89P pretty sure Russia has some really loose copyright laws as well
@@moonpiedumplings3059 Yeah, I don't know anything about Russian copyright law, but I think it's safe to agree that it's somewhat lacking as well, considering the bootlegs I've seen.
@@Chaos89P if I remember correctly, KissAnime was shut down, so they just bought Russian servers to evade copyright laws.
It's the equivalent of offshore bank accounts in the Caymans and should be treated as such
3:29 Oh, that's bad.
MegamanElric16 it really is, I wonder how many people have returned this piece of crap?
@@therunawaykid6523 I wonder how many people unfortunately bought it.
@@Mr.Malliquin666 yeah I hope not many…. 😬😬
@@therunawaykid6523Yeah let's hope that no parents mistaked it for the real Switch, trust me people can do that I know because I mistaked a Puss In Boots knockoff for the real Puss In Boots movie when I was a child.
17:42 Oh my God, that Mario level just took me back to 2007 TH-cam
Same here, man!
His comment about the SD Card slot not working at the 9:10 mark made me spit my juice out with laughter. The pure unadulterated sarcasm brought into this was hilarious.
Wait that bass line in the begging for the background. Wait is that a track for the worst ever another one bites the dust
Mario bros emulated on this system: Everybody is super sonic racing

X12 is a legend for including Super Mario Bros. Frustration.
Man I'm scared that I might not be able to finish thi- **NO SIGNAL**
oh if you watching luca movie for 1 hour the screen starts to glitch and disney plus starts to *signal not found*
3:29 LMFAOO THIS WAS WAY FUNNIER THAN IT SHIULD BE 💀 So glad you included this part bro
Thanks for "Playinging" this horrible game system so I don't have to, that would be a "Acciderit" (🤔)
I’m so glad my children don’t have the system tie around their neck and have the console drop down to floor!
The Vita design is pretty good.
Bruh stop following me
Yeah And i Have A PS Vita
I love my Vita. Still play it regularly. Will EVENTUALLY get a Switch but I'll still play my Vita from time to time anyway.
When it's a real Sony unit of course
Fun fact: Mini Vaders was a test board that came together with every Taito cabinet as required by Japanese laws. Don't know why it's included on the X12 though.
“Luke, I am your father!”
“Sorry, I couldn’t quite hear that. Do you think you could speak up?”
I recognize that last romhack! It was featured in the Super Mario Bros Frustration video back when TH-cam was just starting. You're supposed to jump right as the game gives you control.
15:47 Allie RX reviewed Somari 15 years ago, then looked back at it a few months ago.
Hey Shane, at 11:54 the roms are in .zip and ,bin files. Try extracting the roms out bcuz the system will only play .gbc/.gba./.nes etc.
I had a fake handheld like this too, so just speaking from experience.
Same roms played on X7 Plus! Just X12 seemed not work. :(
4:55 That is NOT how to shorten a title!
I agree, MattCraf!!!
Aw, but I love Fat Fury 2!
@@crazyluigi6664 Best sumo wrestling game ever, amirite?!?!??!!?!!!
More like _Fat Furry 2._
I feel like after all this Rerez could be one to make a bootleg console that isn’t a total mess. But he’d do it by getting good roms, licenses, support from the developers, and all that dirty paperwork other bootleggers just skip over.
“minivadr” is a real game taito made to comply with Japanese arcade laws revolving around an arcade machine always needing to come with a functioning game. It’s basically space invaders challenge levels, and I assume the single level only has one enemy due to this
So that Super Mario BT is actually an older rom hack that existed at least 10 years ago. It was made to be possibly the hardest mario hack ever.
9:55 perfect ad timing with Subways.
18:21 : "..."
Gabe Newell: drop the nuke 😎
11:33 “Awesmoe” viedo, Shnae.
Tish cenommt pseslea em.
Dmamit.
Keep in mind, Shane, that SoMari was developed and published by Hummer Team, who also did the impressive Mortal Kombat bootleg on NES.
Digital Foundry did a DF Retro video on all 16 ports of Mortal Kombat 1 and included 2 bootleg Mortal Kombat games, with the Hummer version being superior to the Cony Soft version, which was just their Street Fighter 2 bootleg on NES.
Missed opportunity to not have the "Fat Fury" characters modified so they look like they're 100lbs overweight...
