Hi Daniel- great review! I had a earlier JG Aurora A5 (not the newer "A5S")- it worked pretty well for me for about 1&1/2 years. The other day my print was going bad and i was having issues, I turned it off, and put in a sample print (lucky cat) to see if my issue was with my slicing or if the printer was bad. When I tried printing the "Lucky cat" smoke started pouring out of the printer(from the mainboard)- so that was it for my A5 printer. I did like the interface, the set-up and everything about the J5, from what I understand the J1 is very similar to the J5S. The other item I didn't like about the early J5 model was one of the top fan on the hot end was defective and messed some prints up until I noticed it. I'm used to using the J5, so for me the J1 would be an easy printer to go to, but I'm not sure if I trust it. Are you still having a pretty good experience with yours? How do you feel about the Tevo Tornado or the Artillery sidewinder x1 compared to this? Thanks- and once again- great review!

mine still works very well! I now have about 300 print hours on it and it's working great!
and regarding the Tovo tornado and the sidewinder X1, I haven't tried them myself,
but from what I heard both of them are great machines.
