    Thank you for the review of the internals, this is what helped me decide to buy one a few minutes ago.

    Thanks for video, helped me fix mine as the filament out sensor lead was on the incorrect row of pins :-)

      So far super happy and the only real bug I have found is the homing one so I just hit home and all is good :-)

    I have the JGAURORA A5 that with some issues. When I try to heat the bed to 110 and the print head to 230 they both count up at the same temp and both stop at around 80 but the table and print seem to be at the 110 and 230 temps because of the heat giving off. Also I have to turn it on and off at time to a bed level cal. Other wise the bed will go to the home position and lock out any of the panel functions except for the "Back" function. Is the a firmware or Main PCB issue?

      More then likely firmware, have you graded it? If not would suggest to (I also did a video on this)

    How do you set the timing belt on jgaurora a5

    I wish Makerbase would release a version of the LCD controller board compatabile with Grbl. It would make a great stand alone CNC/laser controller.

      Yes I agree :-)

      Well I submitted a request on Github. We'll see if that goes anywhere. github.com/makerbase-mks/MKS-TFT/issues/97

    Great video, thank you. I would like to see how they attach the linear rods to the case please.
    You mention that you will reflash this, what will happen to the screen when this is reflashed. What screen is it that was used? Is this separately available for a MKS board? I assume it is more than just a TFT?

    • @DIY3DTECHcom
      @DIY3DTECHcom  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Have you seen this page: diy3dtech.com/whats-inside-the-jgaurora-a5-3d-printer/ as the LCD dosen't show anything when reflashing the MKS Controler (as yes I have reflashed). Also yes it is the MKS TFT28 3.0 color display. The linear rods attached via metal bracket to the top of the case (see the picture 5 down) ...

      Ahh, I have only just seen tour website. Very nice review build type site. Well done.
      Thanks for the picture, it is looking very well built with the CNC plates holding the rods. What thickness are those rod holding plates. More curious about that as I think it is a great idea what they have done here.
      As for the TFT screen, is this custom firmware they have added to the MKS Gen L 1.0 for this navigation? I have not seen such slick navigation that they have on this machine. I have the MKS Gen L and TFT screen, so am keen to see if I can get the exact same navigation they have on this JGAurora A5.
      Do you have a coupon for a good deal on this printer at all?

    • @DIY3DTECHcom
      @DIY3DTECHcom  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes it is well built and one of the reasons I like it also I don't think there is custom firmware however not sure and it is on Flash sale right now so sorry I don't have an extended coupon...

      Thanks for the time to reply. Ideally what I am looking for is something of this quality, but smaller. I don't imagine printing much bigger than around 120mm Sq. Any clues on anything you have reviewed around that size and quality of this printer? I already have large printers, so this printer, downsized would be just awesome.

      Forget the last question... I found the little brother of this one. Looks great, and is pretty cheap as well.

    Looks like it also has a microsd card holder also is it for extra mem or saved files?

    • @DIY3DTECHcom
      @DIY3DTECHcom  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      There is an SD card socket inside yes and is to load GCode from however it is not accessible as it MKS TST uses the USB-A scoket instead. I should have mentioned this in the video, so thanks for point this out:-)

    How We can remove bip sound from this printer?
    I can't use flex fill here.... Printer stops and make bid noise bip sound.
    When you need change filament in print... Again big bip noise sound.
    How I can remove bip sound?
    Thanks

      Hmm never seen it do that so don’t know if using the stock firmware and there isn’t a menu setting, likely not much. You try switching to Marlin and check the config file

    I need to know if the COOLING FAN inside the power supply must run always or only when an overtemperature is reached (since when I set On the power switch, the COOLING FAN inside the power supply does not work).

    • @DIY3DTECHcom
      @DIY3DTECHcom  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      All power supply fans run when the power is on, all of the time (they do not cycle or better put I have never seen one cycle). So if it is not running when the power is on there likely is a problem...

    C10, CR10S or this?

    • @DIY3DTECHcom
      @DIY3DTECHcom  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Depends what you want to do, if you want to take it out of the box and just print quality stuff the JGAUrora is the machine as did you see the shoot out video where I compare the features?

    • @paulobraz6117
      @paulobraz6117 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I saw it but I was confused as to which would be the best option. Both are sensational machines.

    • @DIY3DTECHcom
      @DIY3DTECHcom  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      The features of the JG beat the CR10 hands especially with the touch LCD screen and dual Z axis!

    Another review video says that "Black Diamond" surface is functionally the same as Anycubic Ultrabase:

      Since I don't have Anycubic Ultrabase, it is totally possible...
