Old-Fashioned CHOCOLATE PUDDING you'll not stop eating!! DELICIOUSLY ADDICTIVE!! Recipe below...
    CHOCOLATE PUDDING
    (Makes 4-6 servings)
    1/4 cup unsweetened Cocoa
    2/3 cup granulated sugar
    3 Tablespoons cornstarch
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    2-1/4 cups whole milk
    2 Tablespoons butter, cubed
    1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
    1. In a 2-quart sauce pan add cocoa, sugar, cornstarch, and salt. Whisk or stir well together. Gradually add milk while whisking or stirring.
    2. Cook mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture boils; boil and continue whisking or stirring for 1 minute. Remove from heat; whisk/stir in butter and vanilla.
    3. Equally pour into individual dessert dish or pour into a medium bowl.
    4. To avoid a skin from forming on top of pudding, press plastic wrap directly onto surface.
    5. Serve warm or refrigerate for up to at least 2 hours to set.
    6. Garnish with berries and/or whipped topping, optional.
TIPS: Store covered in the refrigerate up to 3 days!!

I'm so excited ì wanna scream happily I did it an it came out womderful!wonderful!! I made homemade Pudding thnx to you! Thank you. I did have to improvise a little but that's what a good cook does is maybe change things up just a little without hurting the Rexipe.. I forgot your instruction about adding the milk in slowly. I dumped it all in at the same time an just kept whisking until i knew it was ready to go onto the cooking it part. There were no bubbles which was great to see..Also i tried medium heat but I had to turn up the heat just a smidget more until i saw it start boiling plus i didnt time it sorry..
i just stayed on it whisking away.! An then I saw real pudding like when i always made it in the box from thr store. My beautiful pudding came out wonderful an tasted even better! Thank u for your recipe i won't be buying anymore expensive pudding boxes anymore. Thank you!!!

We always added an egg. :-). At today’s prices, though, who can afford the egg? Lol

I used to add an egg or at least an egg yolk. Can this chocolate pudding be used as the filling og a chocolate cream pie?
