    The perfect companion for the iPhone 13 mini. Did what you suggested and had it on first thing in the morning when the phone was 100% and the battery pack was fully charged. Had a full day out and the battery pack only discharged at 10.30pm (13 hours later). My iPhone battery was still 90%! Absolutely impressed with this gadget and like you mentioned it is taking care of the battery rather than just charging constantly. Apple have done it again.

    Perfect for a mini. Also super convenient to have as a wireless nightstand dock. If your phone is running low around the house, you can just use the pack and not be tethered to a wall

    The con for this is that you have to pop it to your iPhone to check if battery is full or not or you can just pull off the lightning, if it’s green, means it’s 100% full, if it’s orange, it’s not 100% yet. They should add the tap function to see the light indicator just like AirPods pro.

    After getting so many “charging will resume when iPhone returns to normal temp.” alerts with my ESR HaloLock mini I picked up the Apple MagSafe battery pack. Zero regrets! Like most Apple things it just simply works. ESPECIALLY after updating it. Gives me enough juice when I need it. Glad to see you still getting the same usage after a year.

    I just picked one of these up for my 13 mini and am stoked to use it. I'm going to a music festival in May and I think this is the perfect use case for the product. I'll be out for 18+ hours per day in the sun and heat so i wanted something I could throw on in the morning and get me all the way through the after parties until 4 or 5am while not burning up my battery. Looks sleek af and the seamless integration is worth the price for me.

    If the rumors are true about the iPhone switching to USB-C next year, that means they'd have to update the MagSafe Battery to also have a USB-C port. And if they give it a USB-C port capable of 18-20 Watt PD (Power Delivery) charging, then it would actually fast charge your phone with a USB-C to USB-C cable which would be even better if they can keep it a pocketable power bank

    I immediately went out and bought one after this video. The fact that I can plug in my iPhone and charge the phone and battery at the same time is the Number 1 Seller for me. I hate Ankers for 3 reasons, you need a whole different cord than the device it can charge, you need 2 cables because there is no pass through charging, and it destroys your battery with heat! I actually much prefer lightning because I only need 1 cord for my phone and it can also charge the pack.

    I think most of people who doesn’t like it are those who typically charge their Iphone to 100%. IPhones are not meant to be charge to 100% all the time because of the 500 battery cycle and that’s why this MagSafe charge does charge Iphone to 100% and to be honest it doesn’t have to.
    It definitely doesn’t warm my phone in anyway and I have been using it for about a month.

      Yes I know the market share for people who have the minis is low, but Apple shouldn’t leave them hanging with no accessories… at least not until Apple officially discontinues and stops supporting and selling the 12 mini and 13 mini.
      It was very hard to find a decent case for my phone since many case companies just didn’t offer 12/13 mini cases.

    So basically you put this on and it maintains your battery. It’s not necessarily meant to go on when your phone is almost dead and you need to charge it back up to a usable percentage. Right?

    I LOVED my MagSafe battery pack until about 9 months ago. It worked beautifully and gave me all the battery life I could possibly need for a day on my 12 mini charging to 90%. But something changed 9 months ago and if I leave the pack on my phone all the time and plug up a charger to charge both batteries, when I unplug it the battery pack automatically charges to 100% even though it’s not set to do so in the low power settings. This wastes a lot of power and reduces my battery life. I have tried it on my new 14 Pro with the same result. I have not found a workaround other than to remove the battery from the phone and reattach it, which is annoying as many times as I plug my phone in for things like Apple CarPlay. I even got a warranty replacement from Apple and it does the same thing. Has anyone else experienced this and found a solution?

    I love my Apple MagSafe battery pack better than the others that heats up my phone. With the Apple MagSafe battery I don’t have this problem. It charges 13 pro max from 20% to 90 with juice left over for my AirPods if needed.

      I have watched many reviews of this product and I can say you have explained it better than all of them combined. It makes more sense now to put it on at the beginning than waiting for the phone to get low on a battery charge. Exactly correct, it is designed to be a battery extender and not so much as an actual battery pack. Since it works with iOS it works as though the battery and an extension of that battery are one instead of just a power source. That's my take on what you have taught me. Thank you very much.

      @@TechnicallyTee it’s a hit or miss with Moft accessories. Some people hate them and some people love them. I’m in the latter category. I use my Moft wallet everyday and I’m interested to try the battery pack. I love the fact that I can attach the battery pack and the wallet so I don’t have to take off the wallet to charge my phone. If Apple had that mod option, I might go with Apple’s battery pack but they don’t

    • @bengoey
      @bengoey 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think if your phone is below 90% and you then slap on the magsafe , it will charge you phone to maximum 90% then the phone is warm.
      If however your phone is at least 90% charge and you use the Magsafe, it will start using power from the charger once the phone charge is 90% , in which case the current draw is low and the phone remains cool. That is my understanding.
