    Hi Heather. This was very helpful. Can mosaic knitting be done in more than 2 colors?

      Yes!! It can! You still only use one color per set of two rows, but you most certainly can use more than two colors. Gradient yarns can look very neat as well.

      So glad I found this channel. I’ve got back into knitting and I’m on a mosaic/slip kick so I refer back to my books purchased ions ago from the Barbara Walker library! I’m so glad to see this style of knitting clearly explained!

      Mosaic can be worked in either flat or in the round! This video applies to working it flat, though. If you were to work it in the round, you'd read *all* chart rows from right to left, reading each chart line twice (so you work 2 rounds of each color before switching). When working in garter, but in the round, you'd knit the stitches worked in the first round, then need to purl the worked stitches in the second round. (All slipped sts will be slipped with the yarn in the back.)
