Where is the conclusion? And you mentioned gas. But you expanded the idea with oil...! After people, you use that as a relative pronoun instead of using who...it seemed to me a bit confusing.
Dear Jay and Alex, you absolutely don’t know how useful your videos are I prepared with them for my IELTS computer based test on 13 th July 2022 and I had a little over 45 hours in all to prepare and I prepared for the D day with your content alone and I am really excited to share my results. You guys are the absolute best! I don't think there are any other channels as good as E2 when it comes to IELTS preparation tips. I relied completely on E2 and their videos, and within a couple of weeks, it took me from not knowing what to expect from this exam to scoring an overall band 8.5, with my listening and speaking at band 9! The videos on '20 speaking topics' and 'Listening mistakes to avoid' were especially useful for me!

I thought I was rusty because I took my first and only IELTS UKVI Academic in June 2019 (L-9, R-8.5, S-7.5, 7 in Writing) but I had to retake it on short notice in August 2022 following it's expiration. With less than a week to brush up for the same test I scored 8.5 in Listening, 8.5 in Reading, 8 in speaking and 7.5 in writing 👐🏼

hello ive recently started working on ietls writing can you guys give me some advice on this essay that I've written about topic Some people believe that increasing tax on various industries will reduce pollution whereas others believe that there are better alternative ways.
Discuss both the view and give your opinion.
Pollution is mainly produced by industrial facilities. Several people argued that making the taxes higher on numerous industries may decrease pollution, while others accept that different types of approaches could be made. In this essay, I will look at both arguments and suggest why replacing the regular industries with other types of mechanisms, is a better way to lessen pollution.
Increasing the value of the product in industries makes it harder for them to purchase, this may result in industries no longer burning those inputs since the percentage of profit will fall. Some believe that this solution is a move as these places work either for producing electricity or heat. To contentiously work, they need to burn coal or fossil fuels which is cheaper compared to other ways of generating electricity. Once this case is implemented hence it will be harder for them to use these materials due to less profit and therefore which will push those to no longer pollute the air. In other words, fewer fabrication areas mean less pollution will occur.
Constructing Eco-friendly industries alternatively, instead of usual ones, and subsequently closing those working areas could address this issue completely. Since expanding the taxes does not fully do that. some argue that these arguments should take into consideration, as wind power and solar panels do not require any special materials that harm the environment, the only needed source is either wind or sunlight in this solution. This is a better way to combat pollution, owing to not a single item being burned, and also from the point that it is cost-effective on the other hand which also does not require any human control, as a result, it will also save time.
In this essay, I have discussed the effects of industries on the nation and possible factors caused by this as well as the path that should be followed. I consider that shouting down those facilities and replacing them with solar power and wind could be useful to deal with pollution rather than increasing taxes on them.

This essay will articulate the measures which society may take for getting advantages from the contribution that elderly can make.
To commence with, there are umpteen of essential key factors which elucidate that the merits of older people's active life to young individuals. The thing I liked about these ideas is the emphasis on developing the ideas expressed in the intro ... It is crucial and really helps with the flow of the essay .. grammar and vocabulary comes natural then .. really appreciate these videos since I had like 3 days to prepare and got 7 in writing :)) . Another point is that people don't plan their response at all. When the writing section started , people started typing crazy without even setting up a plan. I was surprised

Well, in writing 2,I, usually use 2 body paragraphs where in each paragraph I usually prefer and do use 3 topics, but the problem is I can't actually extend my ideas because of that 250 words restrictions or something, I noticed sometimes when try to do this my body paragraphs become that much bigger that each of them contain around 180+ words. 🙂

Hi Jay and Alex. I gave my ielts exam recently. However during speaking test, I used the word 'crappy' (which was unintentional). Do you think slang or bad words like these will impact the score? None of the ielts examiners on TH-cam, shared a video about this. Please suggest me if it would effect my score or not...
Well, yesterday i got my result for the academic IELTS test. I got a 7.5 overall. I just watched your playlists guys. Thank you for your wonderful advice and outstanding content. I got 8.5 in both listening and reading, 7 in speaking but to my surprise I got a 6.5 in writing. I really was expecting an 8 in it or a 7.5 minimum. I don't know now what i did wrong. I am happy with my overall result but its just bugging me that I did what you guys told about the structure of the essay. like i made an introductory paragraph, 2 body paragraphs with different arguments and i concluded in a separate paragraph in the end. Although i used great vocab there, i think, the result was quite shocking. Anyways, thank you Jay, Alex and Mark.

Hi, I used your techniques: passage structures, complex sentences, with some lexical resources. Unfortunately, I ended up with 6.5 only. In my last test I wrote much worse than this time and it was 6.5 then too.
