You're a godsend. Getting ready to buy my Connect and need to know this is do-able. The best step- by- step I've seen!

Thank you! It’s hard and frustrating at times, but keep plugging away! Good luck on your build!

This has been the most helpful series of van build “guides” for a Transit Connect I’ve found in months, should have tens of thousands of views IMHO,
Plus that way there’d be more video drops lol _CAD_ copywrite it before its on sale by someone on eB-- 🤪✌🏼✌🏼🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿✌🏼🚛💨💨

I appreciate the kind words and I am happy that it has been helpful! We got super busy with getting the van ready in time for our trip and I spent all my energy on the build. We leave on our maiden voyage in two days and I will definitely get more videos up after we get back.
      Thanks again for watching!

I’m following your cabinet video now and trying my hardest to do it bc I don’t want to buy one from “ikea”! Lol

thank you for publishing this series.
I'm getting ready to build out my own Ford Transit connect and these really help. There's not a lot of DIY connect build-outs, again thank you.

I'm working on building out a van. How have the lath screws held up over time? Could I put some weight on the wooden panels when they're attached like that?

Lath screws have held up thus far. We sold the van, so I’m not entirely sure of their status. I think with tongue and groove ceiling holding the top of the walls and the bed and cabinets giving extra hold to them, I don’t foresee issues with the lath screws. .25” plywood was pretty flexible so it’s not like it’s pushing back too hard. I don’t know how much weight I would put on them though. Like if I was putting up a shelf I would try to screw them into the same metal that I screwed the walls to.

Wait? You covered the sliding doors?
