Fabricating Custom Seat Brackets On Our 69 Beetle LS Swap

  • Better than sitting on a paint can...
    In this video we are building custom seat brackets with some scrap steel. Going over the thickness of materials I like to use, how to attach, fabricating the brackets and a little sound deadening too. This is a 69 (1969) VW Beetle that we've swapped the transaxle, transmission and torque tube from a C5 Corvette and are powering with a 5.3 truck engine up front. It was time to find something better to sit on the a 5 gallon paint can.
