Really great video Ron! I love that you have taken the bomber seat project and used it as a vehicle to show very different fabrication processes while still building clean and beautiful parts. Being able to build a beautiful part with a shop full of specialized tooling is great, but distilling that down to a set of simple steps using common tools and simple processes is magic.

    • @RonCovell

The edges of the first version of the seat have a little flex to them. If the seat is mounted with sufficient support on the edges and back, it would certainly be fine for a daily driver. Awe man! You said you were going to make this without using any specialized tools but I can clearly see the label right there on the front of it! I've looked everywhere trying to find one for myself but to no avail. If anyone knows where I can find one of these versatile, super awesome, must have Covell metal formers, I'd greatly appreciate it. Cool seat at any rate Mr Ron. 😎👍

The mark of a great instructional video is to be left feeling you could make the item. I have very limited metal working skills, but I felt that even I could attempt this project. We’ll done Ron. Many thanks.
