People don't understand that ranch and farm animals are NOT like pets. They serve a purpose. I have been around and on ranches nearly all my life (am nearly 68). These people take excellent care of their critters. They are also in a learning process, and have excellent advisors. I think they spoil their critters a bit, but hey, I have chickens dogs and cats and they eat a lot better than I do. :) Don't judge lest you become judged.

I find it fascinating how all the cattle have their own distinct personalities 😊 my favorite is between Tipsy (pretty friendly) and I feel badly she lost her baby and Maximus with his gorgeous markings (great for beautiful “baby making” 😂 love all the babies, so, so, so cute 😊

I got mine from Amazon on my gate posts. It looks great, lasts forever, and shows you where the gate is in the dark. I love them, and then discovered the strands of solar Christmas lights! Genius! Now I decorate the driveway gate as well as the fence along the street with the strand lights. It looks sooo pretty!

Hi Chad . Do these inspectors come yearly or an unspecified time. Seems to me that if someone has reported you has a grudge against you for some reason. People like this annoy me but the thing is the inspectors tell you nothing. I had a similar thing with Social security as someone reported me for claiming benefit and working. Some people got nothing better to do with their lives. I know that you run that farm as a good guy should be doing. They should leave you and Rae alone as you do the best you can with the animals you have there.Sending healing prayers to those in the hurricane area

The place is looking great. The animals are beautiful. I don't know why people can't keep their noses in their own business. It always kills me that it's the people who have never owned these animals that are always doing the calling. People don't seem to understand that there are 50 different ways to take care of these animals and no one way is Right. You have people with experience helping you if you have questions. Cows have been drinking from pond for millions of years. Think about it for a little while, while considering how their instincts have stood well for all this time and you'll figure it out.
Go under the fence. Kick The rock out of the way and in a prostate position,shimmy under the barware while lifting the wire over the important bits.
That way you don't need to fall on that wire.

It's interesting that whoever is complaining isn't forthcoming. I find people that turn other people in are the ones that have the most problems in their personal lives like my grandma's boyfriend criticized everybody's housekeeping and then when he died you should have seen he was a hoarder. I know there have got to be times when you might look at something that may best be placed elsewhere and think "ugh" and walk on. Who doesn't do that sometimes?

My grandparents had a tiny farm and had an old claw foot bathtub in the pasture for the cows water and I hardly doubt it was cleaner than yours

Was he so gentle because of the way they raise their animals? About how old was he when you got him? Im wondering these things because i dont know many bulls that are so docile, and gentle. I'm in ga and lost my home to trees from the storm. I was blessed only part of my home that does not need to be rebuilt is my bedroom. Huge huge trees sliced through my house like butter. I called my mom to tell her about my house and it woke her up. 35 mins later she alled me and said her house was on fire. Unf4it was a total loss. Mom said if I had not called. She would have been asleep. God was watching both of us. She is also in Ga 100 miles away from me we r both homeless but alive. God is amazing

There are snakes everywhere, no matter where you live and stuff happens in nature… It’s unfortunate, but even if he was standing right there, he couldn’t necessarily stop it

@user-cn8wu2ok5s -- If I remember correctly, Chad kept the Jack and the baby separated (on their other property) for about a month or so, then watched them carefully when he let them around each other. It soon became very apparent that Lucy was more than able to keep Little Donk away from Lily! Lol. I didn't know if Lucy would EVER let Little Donk around Lily.
