    Hello Breath, Bridge and YWA family! How are you? Yesterday was a little quieter. Are we still on the MOVE?
    I had never done this particular video. I thoroughly enjoyed it though, despite my hands feeling tired earlier on. Quite a nice sequence and hope to follow it again some time. May you enjoy it as well! 💜🙏

    i felt really sad, annoyed and unmotivated today and didn't have any expectations to get any studying done today so i did my yoga first (usually wait until i need a studying break) and oh my goodness this was good! i still feel sad and tired, but i feel like i already accomplished something today and that gives me motivation to at least give this day another chance. thank you!

      I have this same routine! Normally smash out a couple of hours of uni, yoga, lunch, then more uni. Works well dosen't it? But I'm also very glad you could switch things up and find something else that felt good :)

      I love this.
      I have been feeling sorrow and lethargy caring for my grandparents during the pandemic. Everywhere I look I see objects from my childhood and their long lives together...things I will have to pack up to sell, distribute or discard sooner rather than later. It’s heavy in my heart. But when I practice with all of you my sorrow is tempered with gratitude and acceptance.
      As you so wisely and in such a vulnerable way put it yourself: “I still feel sad and tired but I feel like I already accomplished something today and that gives me motivation to at least give this day another chance.’

    Here from February Align 2023. Am currently fostering a dog with a sad history of abandonment from an overcrowded Fort Worth shelter. Their other main shelter is shutdown due to rampant disease, and illness has seeped into the remaining shelter, but is still isolated at this time. Planning to adopt her as she has been so very happy in my home, and I fear for her future if I do not. She is only 8 mos. old and so energetic. Hope my yoga practice will keep my spine youthful and up to the task!

      @Anya Forestell I really enjoyed the substitute. I did Sunrise Yoga! 🌅 My day has been challenged with a disrespectful teenager that I teach online. I really had to return to the breath this morning. I'm cool now. She needs to have an attitude adjustment. My tolerance for disrespect is zero. She will learn respect in my virtual classroom. Anywho, it's a beautiful day in my hometown. Perhaps I will go on a 🚶🏾‍♀️ and/ or attend my virtual yoga 🧘🏾‍♀️ class with my teacher in Chicago. How's your day?

    Blessed Beloved Beauties! Align Day - 23 was substituted for Sunrise 🌅 Yoga, which is very dear to me as my first introduction to the YWA community. It was nice to return to it. My intention is to be patient with myself, which is necessary when working with a disrespectful teenager virtually. Ah, it was sweaty and refreshing. It's time for a quick meditation. 🧘🏾‍♀️ Best wishes, everyone! 🦋♥️🦋

    I am honestly beyond grateful to these monthly scheduled practices. The calendar really gives me the chance to lock in amd dedicate time to thr practice. I've been about 95% consistent with my practice since November 2022 from the Move calendar and haven't looked back since. It's given me the chance to have a better relationship with my body after neglecting it from the constant moving day to day and work.
    Grateful to you Adriene and to this community, sending nothing but love to all of you here ❤️

    I enjoyed to do today’s practice slow; just what I needed. For me it was funny when Adriene said: „Feel the support of the Earth beneath you“. Here in Iceland the Earth has been shaking for a week and I could feel how very much Mother Earth is alive when I did the practice. Have a lovely and peaceful day all of you. Namaste 🙏🏻❤️

      @@hebbaskula9883 That's so scary! I'm glad you're safe though. I've lived through one earthquake (it was very minor but enough to rattle dishes in my mother's China hutch), and I was scared by that. I can't imagine constant earthquakes.

    My favourite thing is to practice yoga at 5am with just candlelight and observing my shadow dancing to Adriene's symphony 🥰 loved that downward dog to plank position transition🤗

    It feels like I am finally getting past the jetlag. This was the perfect sequence today. I met my appropriate edge. The sequence was also beneficial relieving some gastric issues. Not sure if it was the entirety of the program or simply the bridge pose at the end when I noticed it, but it was enough to tag this video for future views.

    I love the articulations from plank to down dog! This practice was a bit in the middle for me… and by that I mean I was able to do the poses and such, but felt distracted and a bit harsh on myself with my inner voice. I’m dealing with some congestion, so maybe not being able to fully breathe from my nostrils is causing some frustration/anxiety? 🤔
    Always reminded that this is a practice. As a perfectionist, I tend to give up if I dont “get it on the first try,” but yoga really has taught me it’s the journey that is the true destination.

    Hello people... Here pals from Brigde journey... It's 9:27pm here in Spain and I have just finished this practice. Wow. Is my birthday today, and I came to the mat physically & emotionally exhausted. Still, wow, I feel so good and refreshed right now... I saw like 8 wild goats this morning and it was definitely my highlight today. Sending green beams of light for whoever might need to catch a tiny bit of Hope... 💚☀️✨

    Energize June 2022, Day 9, 160 days of yoga
    When I looked at the June calendar, I was really looking forward to this one. Little did I know I would wake up with an iffy lower back on this day, so this was perfect!
    Keep your spine fluid, guys 'n gals! If it's not you really DO feel decades older than you really are! Have a lovely (and fluid) day!

    I had a nice walk this morning and discovered yet another lotus pond, a smaller one, that I will definitely return to when they are rising from the mud. It was already hot early in the day while I walked so I returned a little tired to this one. I quite like this practice, even if I find it a little hard on the hands. I took 15 additional minutes in savasana which was quite nice. Enjoy!

    Intention : energize to find length and strength
    I am sore today from the core workout yesterday and I find balance in this spine practice. The old me will choose a shorter or easier practice, worst I might not practice at all and nurse the painful muscles by staying in bed longer than I should. So thankful for Adriene's guidance that I am able to stay committed to improving myself. As the Stoic's philosophy says we challenge ourselves not just to become healthy or stay in shape nor just to be successful, we challenge ourselves to know that we are in charge of our everyday lives.

    Adriene, you asked why I came to the mat today .... because I always do every day, but especially today because I was curious about this spine practice. I know from my life to respect my spine as it carries me safely through life as long as I look after it. I loved this slow slow sequence and could feel my spine benefiting and myself becoming more flexible. As a more senior yogi, I’ve become more stiff in this long lockdown here in England, noticing in forward fold ! But always at the end of our practices that has gone. You are working your magic Adriene 😃 I had to rest in that first plank move but not in the second and I did a super lovely full length stretch at our last savanna .... so satisfying ... perfect. See you tomorrow for Day 5 🧘🏼‍♀️🧘🏻‍♀️🙏💕

    Energise day 9, June 2022. I think this is one of my favourites. I enjoyed the slow pace and feel that my spine is completely wrung out. Delicious.

    I started doing YWA during our first lockdown here in the UK about 10 months ago. It has been such a challenging time for many reasons and there have been some days and even weeks when I've skipped practice, but in the end I keep coming back to it because it's my way of "fitting my own life jacket." This was the assigned video for today on the March 2021 playlist and I considered skipping it for a shorter one - I don't usually do more than 30 minutes as it feels too self-indulgent. But I am SO glad I went for it. I've been trying for months to build up to being able to do a full wheel pose and today I DID IT - I'm sure it was easier after doing this practice and really warming up the spine. My family and friends won't understand how stoked I am about this so I'm sharing here. Thank you Adriene for keeping me sane and making me feel capable when so many things are going wrong!

    The yummyest! Been practising to get the weight off my wrists in downward dog ( I get hot slippy hands), slowing it all down I felt full body connection with this practice. Really gratifying x

      I keep a hand towel by my mat to put under my hands when they start getting slippy in downward dog, maybe give it a try 😊

    This one was really enjoyable because of the slow pace. I've been doing yoga with Adriene for a few years now and most of her teachings are fairly quick moving, aside from some slow here and there. This was very refreshing and relaxing.

    I got sick and had to miss quite a few practices in Align this month... but today I got back to the mat. This was a nice slow flow today which I think I needed to ease myself back into it. Grateful to be back on the mat and working toward my best life. Namaste!

    Just what I needed since my boyfriend is a super crab this early in the morning and trying to make me upset; he is NOT a morning person at all! This started me off great, along with a lil coffee and a closed room with my two yoga cats lovin us some Yoga with Adriene ❤️🧘🏻‍♀️🙏

    Blessed Beloved Beauties! I completed Energize Day - 9 on Day -10 because I have been up for 24 hours. There is an Energize Herbal coffee ☕️ which is caffeine free guaranteed to give a boost to get things done. I don't recommend staying up for 24 hours, yet time is an illusion. I will get some rest today after my 🏃🏿‍♀️ run. I use to do this all the time in graduate 🎓 school. I just wish I had not used caffeine in the past to Energize my body. Anyway, I know I'm going off on a tangent. This practice was perfect for my spine, neck, and shoulders which was perfect after 8 hours of writing ✍️🏽 which is why I'm up so ridiculously late.     I've been doing yoga with Adrienne consistently for about 10 days. I just used this practice and I swear my hip popped back into place after not being active for 6 months. My posture is improving or I'm at least more mindful of it and able to correct it while busy. It has been refreshing to get back into a yoga practice. Thank you.

    These practices are truly heaven sent! I've had so much tension around my jaw, neck and shoulders recently and I've been struggling to get up and move because of the headaches. Thank goodness I started showing up to the mat again because the feeling I leave the mat with is INCREDIBLE! So much better than any painkiller I've taken. I can't thank you enough Adriene for giving us all these free practices and the joy of movement. Thank you!

    Thank you Adriene. This was a beautiful practice. I loved the slowing down so you could really get into your body. I felt myself shaking even though I've done most of these poses before. Just goes to show you that you and your body are different everyday. And I also love when you give us little snippets about our body speaking to our mind. It's so true. My body feels stretched, open and ready to receive love today!

    ENERGIZE ⚡ | June 9. 2022 | This is such a beautiful practice full of yummy moves for the spine. I love slowing it down and really visualizing the movements of the spine, taking the time to make that connection. It was a great brain break for a busy work day as the thunder rumbled in the background! 🙏🧘‍♀

    Without reading the other comments, I was going to write, "Adriene is insightful and spot on in recognizing what a person needs who has problems with their spine!" Hers are the ONLY yoga classes that I take and I get compliments all the time on my posture and alignment. Why waste money on expensive classes that don't apply to the exact areas of the body that we need to work on? She's the best instructor out there, in my opinion.

    Wow a yr ago - last visit for this flow
    much needed to restore my energy - body & mind
    feeling a bit blah for past few days ... so this practice balance the spine and core within

    My five year-old was doing my hair during mountain pose, kids crawled through my cat cow and downward dog, and sprayed the dogs with the water bottle which I then stole back and concealed under my armpit as I did bridge with dogs huddling next to me for safety. But, I still managed to find my calm center thanks to you! I definitely needed that today :)
