- I've always been meaning to recreate my Night Fury in ZBrush, plus I did say I was going to remake my Light Fury if it turned out my Spore creature incorrect. Well the trailer has come out, I took as many screenshots as I could, and here's my updated version.
I've seen a lot of people say how they think her design is too simple, but I have to hand it to Dreamworks, the simplicity of the design is certainly very hard to recreate. No doubt there's some mistakes to my model, but overall it was actually very challenging NOT to add more details. In the end however, I'm happy with how she came out, and I feel like I've learned some new wing-related techniques in the process, so that's a major plus!

I'd like to call to attention the fact that the simplistic design just looks so stunning. I get that it must have been hard not altering the original look, but man, does your model look extremely accurate to the original, and it's absolutely incredible overall.

She’s beautiful but, the light fury still has me a bit confused, I mean is it the same species as the night fury but with a mutation or a completely different species, I mean toothless is trying to impress her but he’s also pretty buddy buddy with stormfly so I guess dragons can like different species, Idk

i belive the dragons down there have adapted to the darker atmosphere and no alpha over them so not much harm comes to them meaning they dont really need camoflage and thats why they glow and others are brighter colors like white but have the need to go outside and have figured out ways to blend in like the light fury here when when she blastes her plasma it makes enough smoke to cover her body in when she flys through it making her black (thats what i think) while others stop glowing when in that ocean like cave to be darker

Dean confirmed that she is some kind of subspecies. Toothless is the last night fury where as there are other light furies.
Just because two people get along together doesn't mean they have to be boyfriend and girlfriend... Toothless and Stormfly don't necessarily have to be mates just because they're pretty buddy buddy ._.

No problem! I find the $150 covers 90% of what I'm after, and it's extremely versatile on its own (though depending on your budget, may still be very expensive). There is a 45 day free trial of the full version, so I recommend you play around with that and see if you're definitely certain you want to get it :)

I made a new oc a pearl dragon this is almoost her but she has purple eyes pink purple but could i use this with credit afcours and your watermark already is on it but i still ask it for sure

I love this!!! The only thing that is bugging me, is the legs. I think they should be a bit more thicker... almost like toothless’s legs. And, I don’t really like all the red. But, besides that, I love it!! It’s very accurate, and you obviously took a long time making it. Great job!

Can you imagine animating that?? Just making it blink could take so many hours.. Maybe a day or two.. And to simply walk! Woah! Im sure they have simpler ways but still..
VaporeonPS Coral, well it depends on the skill of the animator and the software that they’re using. If they’re using a good software with a skilled animator, they could create a blink in seconds, they just need to make a model of the character, and they’re basically set. But making high quality animation like (example: httyd3) is really complex so I wouldn’t say it only takes seconds for that type of animation.
