Spore - Light Fury [HTTYD3]

- There's been a lot of names thrown around for this, (White Fury, Bright Fury, Day Fury, etc.) so I've decided to stick with Light, as that was the name and description I could find in the wiki, plus it sounds like a better parallel to Night. Plus let's be honest, "White Fury" wouldn't be very good to have on TH-cam.
In terms of official movie/promo images, there is just the one poster with only her face, neck, and front legs showing, so there's very little in terms of references for this. I tried to make a smaller Night Fury, capture as much of the poster image as I could, and then finished up with the Wiki description (such as yellow/gold markings). If it turns out to be horribly wrong, I'll just make her again in the future :P

Disclaimer - This is a hype creation. I'm excited! So I wanted to make something. I know the name isn't officially announced, and a lot of features are unknown. I am fine with that! I just wanted to make it and share it. If it turns out to be horribly wrong, like I said in the video description, I'd be happy to remake it.

Although I would have make the head a little more roundy, as you can see on the 'poster', the Light Fury is more Beluga like.

This is amazing. But I may be the only one to complain about this but can make a new one with shorter and more toothless-like legs. Not judging, just suggesting.
AustinKnight X ye I agree. it's just that I think toothless had hind legs without the extended foot/paw, but I can definitely see why u did it like other dragons in httyd stuff. this isn't meant to be mean, but maybe next time u could reference toothlesses legs a little. anyway, good job! I like it!

I've looked at your creations that you've done for a creation challenge, as a SPORE fan myself I'm very impressed.
However, I see an opportunity to really challenge yourself with creating a creature. So my idea of a challenging creation is to create a sauropod (long-necked) dinosaur, specifically a genus called Diplodocus.
I think Diplodocus is a fun challenge, because one of the dinosaur's more distinguishing features is that its whip-like tail makes up pretty much half the animal's overall body length.
Fun fact: Seismosaurus hallorum was once a separate species, as such it was renamed as a species of Diplodocus when the bones were examined more closely.
Other alternate options for other sauropods you could do are: Mamenchisaurus (longest neck of any dinosaur), Argentinosaurus (one of the largest land animals that ever lived), Nigersaurus (short-necked sauropod with a flat, shovel-like mouth), or Armagasaurus (sauropod with a double row of spines on its neck). Apatosaurus is a good default option on a sauropod if you're not interested in Diplodocus...

Ryaquaza 1 White fury is kinda controfersial, and it was looked up in the stream it was made and there where no clear answer to what its name really was
TH-cam's overly PC-nature and aggressive demonetization and all that jazz makes me suspect "White Fury" (as cool a name as it is) could easily be misconstrued as a racial thing. Like Bizzel said, we discussed it during a livestream, couldn't find any official name, so I stuck with the wiki-article name of "Light Fury".
Is anyone really gonna take offence to a spore recreation to a dragon from a dreamworks series tho?, I mean light fury also works but, I just don’t see how this could be offensive

What Bizzel said. Logically speaking, it's 100% fine and dandy. But all this demonetization stuff isn't logical. There's a reason why many TH-camrs are panicking (probably too much, but when your livelihood depends on it... well, better to be stupidly safe, than potentially homeless).
I still don't get why it should have names. It's still a Night Fury ;-;

To me, calling it a nightfury is just ridiculous. The main point with nightfuries is the ability to be invisible in the dark. This isn't at all. If female nightfuries were truly white, that would explain why they all disapeared. How does a specie expect to survive when females are that visible during night time ? I really hope we will get some explanations to this, like it's just a cousin, a specie native to the snowy mountains, maybe a cloudfury or something.

Batuhan Gül: It's a matter of character design. It's all rounded and soft edges, not at all like the other dragons of the series, which look obviously dangerous but are good friends. The "Light Fury" looks the exact opposite, being almost angelic in appearance, so it stands to reason that it is NOT to be trusted. Even if it's not the villain, I'd put money on it being USED by the villain against Hiccup and Toothless, and not just as bait. Add in that the promo image has it's body language being closed off, almost wary, as opposed to Toothless looking alert and eager, and it seems more like a predator waiting to take a bite than a girlfriend.
Of course, I could be entirely wrong. It is just a kids movie, and Dreamworks has been pretty flat in the story department in recent years... I wouldn't be surprised if the movie turned out to be pretty but disappointing.
