- Playstation 5 controller buttons not working fix! If your PS5 controller buttons don't work, one of the steps in this video should help. I show how to take apart the controller, realign the button contacts, clean the contacts, replace the button pads, replace the conductive film, and reassemble the controller, model number CFI-ZCT1W.

This first step of disassembling and cleaning the area worked the first time and everything here was so clear I only had to watch and pause a few times. My dpad and buttons were not working and ps button was not turning on but my controller was charging. This absolutely worked. 10/10
What solution did you use? My d-pad and l1 l2 dont work so it’s a relatively similar issue.
@@getdatmoney445 took it apart and cleaned the sensor. Put it back together. The buttons worked after that. I dropped it the night before and the Ps button dpad and other buttons were not working.

This guy is my hero. I was sure this wouldn't work because I was rough with the controller when I took it apart and had an extra piece when I put it back together (probably the mic). But before I followed the first 2 mins of the video, none of the buttons worked and now they do. Thanks!

this your funny but technical video really helped me eventually fix by ps5 controller. the fix was achieved by realigning the conductive film contacts to the board. Thanks Patrick

Anyone whos wondering this method still works i did realize that the 2022 controllers are slightly different but only thing is there are more screws but still follow the steps according
my x-button stopped responding, so I only had to follow the steps until 2:22, and it works again :D thanks a lot !!

From me it was all except square and the right arrow so (circle,triangle, x,left,up,down and home were not working) so I just cleaned it out with alcohol and then nothing worked even square and right now don't work 😑
You literally just fixed my issue. All i had to do was wipe everything down and my problem was solved. Didnt have to replace anything. Thank you so much ❤

Liked and subbed. I disassembled my entire controller to find that there was DOG HAIR on the contacts stopping my X and triangle from working. You rock bro. Much appreciation. Now I can get back to Multiversus and Spiderman lol

This video fixed my controller after half the buttons stopped working from a drop. It was the connection ribbon of the buttons connecting to the main board being misaligned.
Thanks a lot process was easy and saved me like 80€ it’s ridiculous how a controller breaks just for dropping once

I was ready to buy a new one man Awesome video when he said things may not be aligned when the controller drops, I took into consideration how my controller dropped and the two whacks at the top brought it back

Does this work with the D-Pad as my up button is not working. I don’t really want to take it apart as it will never get put back together.
I changed ribbon and key pads with new ones but still buttons x works if only push x and touchpad simultaneously! How can i fix this
Bro you're the fucking man! The first step fixed all my issues! I had a layer of dust and a couple dog hairs that managed to get in there. No idea how.
