Great video Adam, I have learnt so much about GeneratePress and GenerateBlocks from your videos, which has helped me immensely to move forward with my blog. Thank you so much!!!! Keep them coming 🙂
I do like this. I have no idea why but some large padding seems to be added to the left and right of the outside container when I create this and yet I can't find where it's coning from. Also when I add the height e.g. 400 to the featured image it crops the left and right! If you have any ideas appreciated Adam. If not - it was still fun to follow 🙂
Hey Andy! This very well could be your page layout settings. You may need to go create a new Layout Element, and change the page width to "Full Width (no paddings)".
Not sure I understood what happened because of the placeholder text. Is the "excerpt" text repeated below the hero section as the actual beginning text of the post? Maybe this is a place to use the "Manual excerpt" to avoid the repetition?
@@adamwrightdesign So you mean when I design my post element, I can add that CSS to the contain for the post content? Can you point me to where I can learn that CSS?
@@troyphillips6820 yes. In the container that holds your post content, add a CSS Class under the "Advanced" tab. Then go to Customizer, then Additional CSS, and insert your class there and you can style your h1, h2, etc. that way so it only applies to your posts.
Hello, I have a quick question. Ahrefs is stating I have not h1 title for my blog page. How do I make the title show up as h1 tags. I have h2/h3 tags. But the title is not showing as h1.

Always appreciate your support Adam. Thanks again and I'll check that out @@adamwrightdesign

Yes, it was pulling in the intro of the main content. You can totally add your own custom excerpt in the editor - I didn’t touch on that.
You're awesome. Thanks so much!
Do you recommend formatting the content of a post in generateblocks?
Definitely! You can do that separately with CSS, by putting a CSS class on the container that holds your Post Content.

Great tutorial boss
Thank you! glad you found it helpful!
Very good video. My image doesn't fill the block. What parameter should I change?
I would first check the size of your image, it may be too small to fill the block.
Love your content
Thank you! 🙌
we have to do this for every post ? can we use your this block template in our site in post like importing other templates
You don't do this for every post - you set it up once, and it applies to all your posts automatically.

In your template, you need to make the dynamic page title heading an H1.
I have tried several times. I clicked in the title box but I don't have the options to change the heading style to h1

Hey Anil, I've never achieved this before - you might want to try looking into some custom sidebar plugins.
Can I add more than 1 featured image and dynamic content? I want to make a dynamic landing page template.
You can only have one featured image, so I recommend you setup a Custom Field with additional Images you can upload and call to with dynamic data.
nice video
if I want to design a responsive navigation bar for desktop and mobile
How can I make it like your video?
using generate press elements
please help me brother
Go check out @TheAdminBar for their recent video on building a nav with blocks - that should help the best!
i am trying to find the video but I don't. Can you give the full title of your Video brother?@@adamwrightdesign
The problem with the content template is that we also have to use the wp comments block, which is not very attractive at the moment.
I can't make the title a h1. in the blog post. There is a heading called title, I enter the title but it does not allow me to enter a h1 title tag.
You just need to change the GenerateBlocks heading to a H1 heading. Like any other heading with GB. I might be set as a p instead.
it does not give me the option to change it in the title block
how can i make the same header that will be above the sidebars?
You'd have to build your own sidebar in the blog post template.

which one theme we have to use
This is using GeneratePress 🙂
Hello Sir, I Love it But its not responsive for mobile version
I did not work on the mobile version, but that should be fairly easy to tweak on your own.
