    PLEASE keep cranking out this great stuff!!! I'm a newbie to GenP and GenB and love the environment. Each day is a new one for learning and your videos have been really helpful. Of particular interest in this one is I was forced to go back to W3Schools and MDN web docs for more in-depth info on the CSS you made reference to. Love the toolset recommendations on your website also.

    The irony of GenerateBlocks / Generatepress a lot of cool features which many users probably have no idea that they exist. Many thanks for the videos.

      @@TheAdminBar The next time you start writing CSS just ask yourself "would Tom have thought of this?" If the answer is yes, chances are good that he's somehow included it in GenerateBlocks :)

    Soo handy and quick to use. Surprised to see them making fun functions like that, since their tools are pretty conservative.
    Thank you for sitting back. Guess you figured out how to get the audio right 😄

    • @TheAdminBar
      @TheAdminBar  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      😅 it's a work in progress 😂 Yeah, their tools are conservative, but these are just super lightweight CSS effects - so I don't think there's much of a risk here (and they reserve it for the "Pro" version)

      Thanks so much for those kind words ❤. I'm still trying to figure out how to make good videos, and with so many great course creators out there already - I'm just not confident I could create something to outmatch what already exists. Maybe one day!

    Nice examples. Question : can you save these effects to copy to another site. Like you would if it was hard coded css?

    • @TheAdminBar
      @TheAdminBar  ปีที่แล้ว

      I suppose you could save them as a pattern and then export them - but I usually go the easy route and just copy/paste elements from one page (or site) to another. Works perfectly!

      Are you talking about the timing functions? You can look up all the default ones, and you can also create your own completely custom.

    Doesn't it just add more plugin weight, If only a few things are needed why not use CSS only? No oppose to anyone just want to know the thoughts

    • @TheAdminBar
      @TheAdminBar  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I don't believe it adds any weight. The effects are not loaded if they are not used. And if you take a look at the CSS is produces, it's about as clean as it can be.
      Of course, yes, there is a compromise. If you hand coded the whole site, it would be cleaner. But, it would also take 10X as long.
      I'd put up GB/GP's code against any of the WP builders.

    I followed the same path as you. Most of my custom CSS in the customizer then realized I could do it easier here. Wish I could paste in my code and have it converted to using these controls. 🧞‍♂️
