Thanks for sharing your your work. I have a 600 and by watching your video my winter project is to rebuild the cutting bar on my machine. The blades on the unit next to the drive unit are hitting literally trashed a new set of blades. The turtle on that unit has lots of play in it where it wasn’t torque down properly.
I really like watching your videos on going through your mower been wanting one myself I have a New Holland 617 I’ve had for 20 years was 4 years old when I bought it been really tough but it’s showing it’s age now and one guy can’t hookup by himself dads old now so it’s just me need to upgrade to something with a tongue hitch …on installing races a trailer ball word great
Amazing how much Vemeer and a lot of other disc movers are made about the same.....Utilizing the first module to drive the whole cutterbar.... U-joints, bevel gears, splined shafts.....and God knows the bearings and seals invplved.......

I just bought an older 1030 for cheap as is and I've got a similar problem. Thank you SO MUCH for the info, as it's helping me get it apart.

Try the rudura blades from si . Their cold hammer forged half price of vermeer and last a lot longer. You'll like them.
