Just wanted to compliment you guys AGAIN on using the Haltech ECU! I've watched SOOOO many builds from the Aussie guys using their stuff... and it is so flawless! So FLEXIBLE, you can control anything ad EVERYTHING.
And if you're hooked in with Scottie and the Haltech crew they'll work WITH you! Hell, if you're doing something this unique, they'll USE you as an R&D factory! That's cool as!

You guys should put the Motion Raceworks banner stickers all over the car like the one on the windshield you should put another one that size on the back window and a big logo type sticker on the roof,the trunk, and hood then put two big banner type stickers one on each side of the car so it's basically a moving Billboard since you guys are building the car with everything straight from the shelves of your company........straight off the shelf to the car and that means two things 1. That car was built with off the shelf parts 2. That gives a new meaning to customer service, less than a 5 minute turn around you order the parts send someone to go pull the parts off the shelf and install them on the car no overnighting or expediting shipping just handling and install which nowadays the handling part of ordering anything is what you have to watch out for and that is why someone invented the door bell cam so you can watch the delivery guy throw or kick your package up to your door then when you get home and see that your package is all caved in and the box is half way ripped open so then you go and access your door bell cam only to find out that the delivery driver has been playing kickball or practices throwing your package like a softball so when he gets home his 10 year old son will stop telling him that he throws like a girl and the delivery driver gets all butt hurt and gets all in his feelings and takes it to work with him the next day and that's what happens to our packages and then we call up the company asking to speak to customer service wondering why we received a broken product and then that falls on the company and they chalk it up as a loss and send out a replacement so Thank God for doorbell cams nowadays lol

I bet the back pressure is going to be through the roof on that turbo, coyotes flow way more air than a LS. You could almost run 2 of them turbos on a coyote.
Cleetus and James are going for 7s and they are already in the low 8s turned up and since then they have done a few upgrades so at FL2K if everything goes right they should have no problem getting Ruby into the 7s plus Ruby's engine is a Texas Speed built engine with a stock block that has been sleeved with Darton sleeves and for the most part the Coyote engine going into El Toro is basically completely stock except for them putting headers and a turbo on it and they locked the cams so they don't have the factory VVT-I anymore which supposedly from what I've heard if you know what you're doing with the Coyote engine if you don't lock the cams and you keep the VVT-I and you degree the cams where it's needed like V-Tech on a twin cam Honda you can make more HP but I myself only know a little something something bout engines that have push rods and a single bump stick and to me a Coyote engine is nothing but a glorified K-series twin cam Honda with 2 extra cams and 4 more cylinders so anyone of you Honda guys out there wondering what 2 K-series engines put together would look like and what they sound like well there you go for now until someone out there that has the time and means to do so

The guy doing the welding inside the car, I’ve seen him before in your videos. You should include him more. He seems to always be good for a few laughs.
I’m loving this build. It’s partly a “look what we’ve got available “ commercial, but also a very entertaining build. Your crews work well together, even with the joking around.
Doug you left out the fact that you guys were working on the GTO and the Blazer trying to get one of them if not both ready for Race Week and you had to put the engine back in the Nova all before Race Week then you went on Race Week and raced and traveled all week then you come back home to build a car ground up basically in 8 days just to travel back down to Florida to race for 4 days then come back home but I myself are enjoying the daily uploads with the in-depth behind the scene builds mixed in with the tech tips and endorsement videos
Curious; why not use a stock coyote computer? I understand with chevy you need an aftermarket, but coyotes have been in the deep 7s with a stock computer and remote tuning.
I'd love to see a build list and price sheet of what this actually cost in parts. Could be a very attainable build for many people........abd there is a Fox body down the street from me doing nothing.😉
Daaaaaamn those rims look good on that there fox. I tried talking Kyle @boosted lifestyle to drop a coyote into his and his Mrs Mustangs (especially his Mrs car as it’s a early foxbody) unfortunately he decided to go LS on them 😔
At the 6:16 mark the spot on the fender where the paint has chipped off and the bare metal has started to rust clearly looks like someone got sick on the fender lol but joking aside you should get a few rattle cans of clear coat and clear coat over top of the cruddy paint and keep the bare metal from rusting anymore and end up rusting all the way through plus I think it would look pretty sweet and there is guys out there paying alot of money to get their cars wrapped to look rustic like that and you would have about $15-$25 in the clear coat lol......... I hope that you guys are going to use the existing holes right behind the front bumper for the exhaust so you don't have a bunch of unnecessary holes all in the front of the car and then the car starts to look like swiss cheese LMAO
James I think it would be pretty sweet if on the next Race Week you bring your white 4th gen Camaro plus Doug said El Toro is going and if he brings his Nova and the GTO and the yellow Blazer and Doug needs to talk John Doc into building a Race Week/Drag Week car and then Cleetus and James bring all their cars and then Cooper bring a car and then PFI SPEED and the Boosted Boiz bring all their cars and then Alex and Dennis Taylor Trevor from Motion Auto TV brings his car and then all the other smaller TH-camr's brings their cars and then you have 1320 Video making their basically behind the scenes videos and to me as an "internet spectator" that is the best way to watch Race Week and Drag Week is through the TH-camr's I think it's better than the live feed because if I just wanted to see just the racing part of things I would just go to my local dragstrip which is Virginia Motorsports Park where Tom Bailey made his record breaking 5 second pass on the last day of Drag Week and to me that's more impressive than doing it on the first day or in the middle of the week he done it on the last day going close to 1500 miles and made low 6 second passes all week then bam clicked off a 5.99 @ 250+mph with the water jacketed 481X aka SMX and to me I know it's technically a Pro Mod but that's a true street car I need to start following all the info for Race Week and Drag Week closer because I was so mad when I saw they were racing at VMP and I couldn't go because it was literally the last minute when I found out so hopefully one day soon in the near future one of them races will come back to VMP so I can go to it whether it's with a car or just to watch

Compound turbos, I read ya. The faster you go the more air you ram down the intake. Lol works to a certain extent on an N/A engine.
