In his show room there was an old BULTACO and a Ossa!!!! Rare, good looking bikes!!! Very collectable and you were right there and didn't even make a comment??????
Thanks again for the video as always you do a great job and I'm glad you went to Webster I was going to go down there and take a look around you save me a trip from wasting some time and some gas money thank you again❤
Absolutely correct. Sparta was bicycle company started in Netherlands 1917. In 1970s they were largest Dutch producer of mopeds. Now they are known for electric bikes. Sorry for my bad geography! Steven Cosmo
In Pinellas County if his kids still run the Business Try County Cycles and believe about a mile or two from there is a motorcycle parts yard around 42nd ave and 37th street north
The Sparta Sport 2v or 3v was never made in Belgium but in the Netherlands. And the frame was maybe derived from a honda but i seriously doubde it. It uses a sachs 2 or 3 speed gearbox. Handlebar drum shifter. The engine would move upward when the rear shocks are pressed down. Produced from 1969 to 1978.
I had a blue Honda P-50 just like the one at the end of the clip. I was like 10 and everyone else had mini bikes or mini endrow or mini trail,,,, It was embarrassing at the time...don't see many of these bikes. She is missing most of the covers but still in good shape. Thanks.
Wow, crazy amount of 50cc's there, the Hercules with the swingarm, the purple FS1 and one of the Peugeot's would be my pick of the day. Shame you don't see many Zundapp's, Kreidlers or Casal's around your part of the world. Sparta is made in Holland and not in Belgium 😊
@@tate2915 Brill thanks 😊 Regarding two stroke Moto Guzzi's, I have a 1974 Moto Guzzi 250-TS, basically a badged Benelli 250 2C. But it does run good with handling to match. 👍
I don't know what you mean by Hollywood bikes? And are we talking about Michael Harper Smith? Has the largest collection of Italian bikes that I know of in LA.
Very very nice walk through the golden ages of motorcycling.
Thanks
Wow, I'll be there. Dates for 2024 meet?
Find him on facebook. He's usually around weekends

Glad you saw that. Check out my other videos. I have many of those old Bulataos and did a review on that very same Ossa model.
White and red is OSSA 250 SDR.
Red and grey is OSSA 250 Wildfire.
The only 2 spaniards in front room.
A man who knows almost everything in a shop that size is a good man to know.
I think you have me confused with someone else, but thank you!
Agreed! I always learn something when looking at motorcycles with Dave ... even when they're mine.
@@bullpencycles Sorry, Dave. I meant the shop owner but your brain is still switched on.
Awesome 👍 Nice guy Steve what a place .
I will call him about Chibi parts .
Thanks
Only have one chibi, but it is a parts bike. Calls from vintage enthusiast always welcome

You're welcome. Thanks for watching
Hello a Sparta moped is not build in Belgium. But it is build in Apeldoorn the Netherlands.
Thanks. I never saw one before!

I never looked at one closely before.
Thanks for sharing memories. Perhaps embarrassing compared to JT1 for Z50, but still beat walking I'd guess.
Those old road kings ride so sweet

Every once in a while I run across a Kreidler. Yeah, someone said re: the Sparta
There’s a pair of Kriedler mopeds in collection and a Zundapp moped, but you are correct … no motorcycles
that shop was AWESOME.
Glad you liked it
Yamaha U5/U7 had the oil tank on the side of the frame below the seat and yrs injection not pre mix
I think I remember that. Lifting the seat to check the oil level
I need that Suzuki TS400! HELP
You can find him on Facebook.
That four stroke Kawasaki looks like it either has a rickman frame or a moto Martin frame, whatever it is it's a nice looking bike.
The IT 125 is a cool bike! Wonder if he has the title?
No title on IT
It could have been a Sears
Alstate. Also could be a Bridgestone.
Kevin Phoenix ✝️
Wow moped heaven 🤸♀️ that last machine was it a Honda P50 circa late 60's ? Great vid Dave 👍🏴
I think so!
1966 P50.
@@tate2915 Brill thanks 😊

Takes me to the way-back machine ,
I want that Yamaha IT, take it back. Hodaka please! Sorry , Ossa please.
They tell me that's a pretty rare IT
The Italian Harley's seems to be very rare.
Pretty many here in the USA
Harley bought 50% of Aermacchi in the 1960's and let them build Harley's 2-stroke motorcycles.
During AMD ownership of HD.Made in Varesa in Italy came in 80cc to 350cc often blue or black with stick on stripes
I had a '72 350 Sprint and I still have my '73 TX 125.@@christopherpearson1752
You meant AMF, not AMD, right? I used to see many 250 Sprints that were turned into flat-track racers in South Florida back in the 1970s.
Have you ever seen a Kami 80
yes. i think Steve has one. it was at moto-fest some time ago, might even be on the video from then
Mine is a 1974 KA100 with 336 miles from original owner. Has Fuji motor (same as Hodaka Ace 100) and Torque Engineering pipe
Does anyone know the Honda identified as a "rally" at TVC, inside the building? I have not seen this bike before.
Yes. It's a Honda Super Cub with a Sport kit. I did a video on it quite some time ago. It came from here
Thanks, I will look for it.@@bullpencycles
Hello from France, i m happy too see lot of mopettt Peugeot, moto bécane, and all not import
No many Peugeots here.
I’m saving up for a used moped😊.
Awesome
Do it! Mopeds are such cheap fun ... especially when traveling at 50mph with kitted 70cc cylinder on 2 1/4" wheels.
Is that how you say PUCH... like the name LUKE with a P, or POOK? I aways thought it was pronounced pooch, but I don't know why I thought that.
ch as in church is apparently correct just like your spelling.
Not sure. We say Pook, but its prolly different all over
Pu CK not pook
t would be pronounced as poeg in Germany and Holland😊
Mopeds drool 😂😂
Some folks really like them, but I never figured that out.
When Govt. finishes it's war on cash and goes digital all of those cool bikes will for the most part be of no value.
Well, we will just keep trading, like we do now!
Unless we go Gold backed currency. Then the Value skyrockets!
Cop case ....enngin EVO super! penton aaaa😍
Wow, that's a wide net!
a GREY GHOST !!!!
I wasnt sure if it was, or just a Grey Montesa. I think the Grey Ghost was a 63M, 250cc Capra but I've seen the name also used with other models.
@@bullpencycles ....all those Grey ones were "Grey Ghosts"...the 125 & 250
a piece of junks ready for the junkyard are there in a junkyard
Never heard anyone else call a bike " a mike harper bike" since I'm fortunate enough to live close by him. I have 53 Mival 125t, I'd sell him! 😊
Well, yeah. One can pretty much tell. Does Mike still do Hollywood bikes?
I don't know what you mean by Hollywood bikes? And are we talking about Michael Harper Smith? Has the largest collection of Italian bikes that I know of in LA.
@motorp742 yes. He was know for renting some for movie shoots. Same fellow
Same one! He has over 200 50cc Italian bikes. One of the nicest guys too!
