Eating alot of Empty Carbs and Sugar is not healthy. You have ti be careful with Vegan diets becuase you can end up eating alot of sugar and empty carbs which drain your energy and make you feel lifeless.

GeeGirl I live in Houston too and there are places in river oaks that will give you a gel French mani pedi for $25 to $50 at most. I think 100 is still to much for Houston. Especially just for gel
I have a similar condition but my reflux comes and goes, sometimes I have it almost daily for a few months and then it disappears on its own for a year. My doctor gave me some pills that helped temporarily but said if I get it again, next time I have to go get the camera down my throat 😖 So I haven't complained since and I'm trying to figure it out on my own.

It’s a long battle, but we can eventually get there! I treat my issues like gastroparesis, and take the digestive enzymes too, been extremely helpful!
it pisses me off that they made you pay $200 for a GEL manicure and pedicure and expected a $40 tip and said something to you about 20%....... I live in Florida and pay $50 for that and then I leave a $10 tip. they're being extremely greedy.
It pisses me off that in America you HAVE to give a tip.... Like in France the service is already taken by the bill in itself, and we put tip if we want to reward more the service.... I’m a New Yorker my whole life and have never paid 200 for nails...there’s a a range of prices, you prob went to an upscale salon where the rich and celebs go to. 200 is not worth it unless you’re lacing my nails with gold.

I’ve had the same stomach problems my whole life and eventually had to get surgery to correct the valve that lets the stomach acid come up your esophagus. Ever since I have felt so much better!! It’s called a TIF procedure.

I have had the SAME problem with stomach acid for years. To increase stomach acid, have a glass of celery juice every day- freshly juiced without anything added. The mineral salts in celery is excellent for natually increasing stomach acid. Have diluted apple cider vinegar before every meal and take digestive enzymes and betamine HCL supplements after every meal. It also helps to not strain your digestive system and to have some meals in liquidated form e.g. have soups for dinner instead of a heavy amount of carbs and proteins.
Regarding Laurens acid reflux (since I also have it and have been through enough): - Reducing the amount of simple sugars you take in helps (table sugar, especially). - Drinking a solution of a little bit of sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) and water helps to ease a crisis - it's an alkaline substance, so it neutralizes the acid. - Coffee is out. It makes the acid reflux worse. - Don't eat anything for at least 2 hours before sleeping. I hope it helps and Laurens gets better soon 🤗.

Yes, Laurens! I have heard that apple cider vinegar is good for acid reflux! You need more acid, which seems like the opposite of what you should do, but I've heard that it works. 🤞
Laurens I have the same exact stomach problem that you have! Over two years ago I stopped eating gluten, dairy, oils, red meat, pork, eggs, alcohol....it helped a ton but so did a medical food called UltraInflamX by a company called Metagenics! It’s a powder you mix with water and drink once to twice a day. Their Enzymes are great too. Good luck on your Happy Gut Journey. You guys are awesome ❤️
Hi romee n laurens...yes i understand about the stomach issue...coz I too have it occasionally...usually if I eat too much meat or food than normal...then if it happens, I take enzyme supplement to help me digest...but how u take it also important...u dont want to take the supplement immediately after u eat...let your digestion do their work, then after some momment u take the supplement...u dont want to be too dependant to the supplement but more like to help with ur own digestion system..then gradually u decrease the intake...hope after some time ur stomach issue will resolve❤❤❤❤
I was on Omeprazol for quite some time as well. I started to notice some bad side effects and it never really helped me. My diet is now as organic as possible and I drink raw milk which has helped me! It has been a learning process for me but I am now able to manage my stomach issues!

Sorry to hear about Laurens ongoing stomach issues. I've seen some real benefits eating White Mountain Bulgarian yogurt (full fat) with a drizzle of honey. Lots of probiotics so that seems to help w/gut health. And for inflammation which can irritate things (everything it seems) I find drinking turmeric-ginger tea works wonders (1/4 tsp turmeric powder, 1/4 tsp ginger powder, a dash of black pepper, 1 tsp honey in a coffee mug - add hot water, stir, let cool a bit and drink) -- tasty, soothing. Yummy with whole oat milk too, if you like lattes and who doesn't like lattes!

I have that same stomach thing. It's called GERD. I stopped eating bread and I never got stomach pains after that. I can eat gluten free bread, but I try not to eat a lot of carbs in general. Also eating on time helps too. Don't go too long without eating when you are hungry. That tends to make it act up.
Respectfully, it’s because there are two tiers of minimum wage in the U.S.: One for tip-based jobs, and one for non-tipped based jobs. Tip-based employees can be paid as little at $2.13/hour and don’t see their paycheck because it goes toward taxes and social security. Their only income comes from tips. This applies to bartenders, nail salons, food servers, etc. I don’t agree with this system, but it explains the employees’ frustration when they don’t receive a tip.
I missed her so much! I thought she’s not going to vlog anymore. At first I loved gigi and bella hadid so much but when I saw romee’s vlog, she’s really good at vlogging (for me) and very likeable sound of voice. I love her sooo much! Also Laurens, if you want a tastier way of drinking apple cider vinegar (make sure it's raw, unfiltered, and contains the "mother") heat a mug of water with the juice of half of a lemon then add the cider vinegar to that. I use 1 tablespoon. It tastes much better and it's great to start up your digestion in the mornings.
As a nurse ,what you said about omeoprazol / pantoprazol is very true. In my country doctors used o prescribe it to all hospitalized patients to protect their stomach from other drugs they were taking until the long-term side effects were proved by research. Eating raw honey or drinking aloe vera in the morning helps with stomach acidity

Less dairy lately has definitely helped, but didn't know about fried foods. Tell Lauren's to try put some ginger and turmeric in hot water i find this has helped!!!

can totally relate to the stomach issue, I'm only 20 and have the same issue, slowly weaning off the meds. Digestive enzymes, probitotcs, dgl, licorice root are your best friends ! look it up :)

The HCL enzymes also help rebuild your stomach acid especially after it getting to low, most people have low stomach acid but aren't guided how to naturally fix it. Sadly it's an easy fix but docs just prescribe more pills. Glad you're feeling better and thanks for sharing. I see this with my clients all the time.

Sorry to hear about Laurens ongoing stomach issues. I've seen some real benefits eating White Mountain Bulgarian yogurt (full fat) with a drizzle of honey. Lots of probiotics so that seems to help w/gut health. And for inflammation which can irritate things (everything it seems) I find drinking turmeric-ginger tea works wonders (1/4 tsp turmeric powder, 1/4 tsp ginger powder, a dash of black pepper, 1 tsp honey in a coffee mug - add hot water, stir, let cool a bit and drink) -- tasty, soothing. Yummy with whole oat milk too, if you like lattes and who doesn't like lattes!

I have that same stomach thing. It's called GERD. I stopped eating bread and I never got stomach pains after that. I can eat gluten free bread, but I try not to eat a lot of carbs in general. Also eating on time helps too. Don't go too long without eating when you are hungry. That tends to make it act up.
I hate the tip thing that they always ask, we don't have that in Belgium, and when you don't give them a tip they get angry.

Respectfully, it’s because there are two tiers of minimum wage in the U.S.: One for tip-based jobs, and one for non-tipped based jobs. Tip-based employees can be paid as little at $2.13/hour and don’t see their paycheck because it goes toward taxes and social security. Their only income comes from tips. This applies to bartenders, nail salons, food servers, etc. I don’t agree with this system, but it explains the employees’ frustration when they don’t receive a tip.

I missed her so much! I thought she’s not going to vlog anymore. At first I loved gigi and bella hadid so much but when I saw romee’s vlog, she’s really good at vlogging (for me) and very likeable sound of voice. I love her sooo much! She changed my lifestyle (eating, workouts) considering I’m a Filipino, we’re very fund at eating rice but when I see her eat healthy foods, I did too! Hahaha Thanks Romee for being an inspiration to us ladies! ❤️❤️❤️

Also Laurens, if you want a tastier way of drinking apple cider vinegar (make sure it's raw, unfiltered, and contains the "mother") heat a mug of water with the juice of half of a lemon then add the cider vinegar to that. I use 1 tablespoon. It tastes much better and it's great to start up your digestion in the mornings.

As a nurse ,what you said about omeoprazol / pantoprazol is very true. In my country doctors used o prescribe it to all hospitalized patients to protect their stomach from other drugs they were taking until the long-term side effects were proved by research. Eating raw honey or drinking aloe vera in the morning helps with stomach acidity
I can feel you struggle Laurens. Digestive issues are terrible and trying to eat clean while being out can be really difficult.

Less dairy lately has definitely helped, but didn't know about fried foods. Tell Lauren's to try put some ginger and turmeric in hot water i find this has helped!!!

can totally relate to the stomach issue, I'm only 20 and have the same issue, slowly weaning off the meds. Digestive enzymes, probitotcs, dgl, licorice root are your best friends ! look it up :)

The HCL enzymes also help rebuild your stomach acid especially after it getting to low, most people have low stomach acid but aren't guided how to naturally fix it. Sadly it's an easy fix but docs just prescribe more pills. Glad you're feeling better and thanks for sharing. I see this with my clients all the time.
