To give insight on the questions around relevant skills for manufacturing: All of these skills are relevant in a manufacturing environment, there are support functions for manufacturing including Quality Control, Engineering, Logistics, and depending on the industry other functions like laboratories, operational excellence, legal etc. Especially in highly regulated industries, so skills like technical writing, data analysis, etc. are right in par with the needs of the organization. In regards to the diverse workforce output, it is probably factoring in that any program or strategy implemented should consider the diversity across all spans and layers within the specified demographic.
I am thoroughly enjoying this video. I am at 30:56 where chat gpt included financial literacy training and I don’t see a problem with that in the context of personal development. I understand though that with a limited budget, that might be difficult to include. I am now learning about L&D though so maybe I’m missing something 🤷🏾♀️ idk.
