E1 isn't even his lowest recorded note. He is a master of subharmonics.
Tim Foust of home free is lower and has a 5 octave range
His lowest recorded note is a D1, in the mermaid medley, and a Eb1 in the Mr Grinch 👍

También su colaboración con Peter Hollens " Black is the color of my true love hair" es maravillosa. Y Tim Foust, el bajo de Homefree es impresionante también. If you're looking for more bass you should definitely check out Tim Foust from the acapella group Home Free. He and Geoff have a really similar range, although they use different techniques to get there. They both have about a 5-octave range. Avi Kaplan is another good bass. He doesn't play with subharmonics as much as Tim or Geoff do, but he has a very unique bass voice with a very pure, rich sound. Avi used to be with the acapella group Pentatonix, but he went solo a few years ago and has put out a couple albums. He should also be on your short list of favorite bassists.

Ceci, I watched your entire wonderful reaction to Geoff's elegant version of Blackbird in CC'd captions and enjoyed every second of it...you are such a wonderful, thoughtful music reactor...I especially loved the moment at 6:55 when the translation caption interpreted you as " what's that note...It's an A1, IT IS an A1, ah mother of beautiful love, but where did he come from by God?" Great reaction...Even though I can't speak Spanish, I am a new subscriber....Gracious!
Geoff has a marvelous range: (growl) A0/Ab0, (subharmonic) B0, (full chest) F#1, (highest note) A5. What is so remarkable is that he can sing so smoothly in any part of his range, it's a voice that just turns me to butter.
La técnica que utiliza para hacer el E1 es los subarmónicos , es una técnica que consiste en hacer una nota en tu voz de pecho , puede ser un G2 y relajar la voz intentando mantener esa nota en tu voz de pecho mientras metes vocal fry , sin llegar a hacer que se pierda la nota que estás haciendo en voz de pecho , al coger exactamente el punto entre la nota de pecho y el vocal fry , se crea el subarmónico , haciendo que esa nota el G2 se convierta en G1 .
Uno de mis cantantes favoritos , su rango es desde C#0 ( fuera del piano ) y A5

Podrias reaccionar a otra cancion suya? te recomiendo "the headless horseman" o el caballero sin cabeza en español, tambien podrias reaccionar a una cancion de voiceplay (él es el bajo de ese grupo acapela) un buen video para empezar seria "the little mermaid medley", que tiene una gran produccion detrás. O "Disney sidekicks" si quieres un video mas al natural, los 5 en una habitacion con dos microfonos.
PD: El tiene un alto registro impresionante, puede llegar a un Si4 con voz de pecho y a un Mib5 en voz mixta, esto se debe a que hace mas de veinte años, el queria ser tenor, por lo que entreno mucho su parte aguda.

Geoff is a phenomenon. Since he has done this recording he has been hitting D1 on a regular basis and as far down as BO in some works. He sings with an acapella group, Voiceplay, since 1997. He does about half of their arrangements. I am sorry you have not gone back to Geoff or on to Voiceplay. Please do. A few months ago he did Sound of Silence.
One of Voiceplay's most recent was Hellfire from Disney's The Hunchback of Notre Dame.

Te recomiendo a Tim foust es un bajo impresionante . Jd sunmer y su voz de pecho en la octava 0 , o si realmente quieres sorprenderte , escucha a Tomi p en su canción hellfire , en esa canción muestra todo su rango vocal , que va desde un F6 si un F6 y un F0 es decir una F por debajo del piano . Aparte el hace algo super bueno , es la voz inhalada , puedes explicar bien esa técnica .

hola, de geoff castelluci, debes escuchar los otros títulos, (mantén los títulos en inglés en tu investigación): - oogie - boogie 's - song / daddy - sang - bass / - otra voz baja, que no tampoco está mal: el título siempre en inglés en tus búsquedas: RING / OF / FIRE (homefree), y luego un grupo asiático: Hu - wo lf totem - buen sabor, saludos

Geoffs lowest note I believe is a B0 that he hits in the halo cover with Voiceplay. It’s mind blowing
Geoff Castellucci "VoicePlay", Tim Foust "Home Free" and Avi Kaplan formally in "Pentatonix" are my favorite. They sound distinct enough that most would be able to pick their voices from a song they never heard. I believe Tim has the lowest chest notes out of these three possibly the lowest notes in general. Geoff does magic with subharmonics. Avi has a super thick sound on every note it's very consistent and it makes low notes sound lower to my untrained ears. There isn't enough recognition of bass vocals and not because people don't like it but people don't understand it. Most people will assume it's 100% post production without considering that people can make sounds like that with or without amplification and post processing.
There are so many up and coming bass both in age and name recognition. Many are using techniques that didn't exist or didn't exist in a formal way, before the internet matured enough to form these online communities. Multiple ways to achieve the same notes but sound different even when it's the same vocalist making those sounds. I think the next decade will be pure insanity when it comes to bass vocals.

I don't know music, but I obsess. Geoff sings bass for VoicePlay, a really wonderful and playful a cappella group. I can always tell if Geoff or Layne (Layne Stein, their beatbox) arranged VoicePlay songs, but I don't know why. I think maybe it's because Geoff brings a buttery smoothness, and Layne brings more excitement, but beyond that I'm clueless. Wonder if you would listen/react to VoicePlay's "Warriors." It's stunning, Layne arranged it, and - despite it being a cappella, he ALSO plays violin - and I'm out of ways to think about this, but it's as if the violin is another voice instead of a support. Doesn't sound like anything I've ever heard before. I'd be so grateful for a little deconstruction -

Dimash es un 2..8 i éste es un 1..5 ( o un 0..5 ) que no está nada mal.
Estos videos que hace cantando él mismo a 4 ó 5 voces son una pasada de buenos. Personalmente quizá el que más me gusta está entre "Headless horseman" y "16 tons", pero vaya ... cualquiera es bueno.
