It's so wonderful to see a person achieve their dream, especially when it is made possible by the kindness of strangers. This channel is amazing. So many in the West have absorbed anti-Muslim propaganda and this channel has humanized a group of people that suffer not only poverty but are subjected to discriminatory stereotypes portrayed in Western media. They are ignored by their own government and live without the amenities considered essential for modern life- safe mains supply drinking water, reliable electricity, free schooling, accessible healthcare and a modern road transport system. Until I found this channel, all I knew about Balochistan is that it was in the 'badlands' of Pakistan - tribal, dirt poor, cultural repression of women, and likely to harbor dangerous Islamic fundamentalists. Thank you Safia and Ali for expanding and gently challenging my views even when it is clear that there are indeed real problems, especially for women, the environment and the poor. I have very different views on religion but that doesn't stop me from appreciating the combined effort to send Mama Mustafa to undertake the Hajj. I am sure it will be the pinnacle of his life's experience.
That's nice of you to say and I am glad that you have an open mind. Knowing how kind and generous Muslims are, it's painful when people believe the hype against them.
Please don’t promote this codswallop, the world is full of sad twists and turns. Extremism and propaganda isn’t only prevalent in the west. Ethno nationalism has swept the world by storm over the last decade. Eastern countries including India and Pakistan have a huge problem with pogroms that is incomparable with outlandish news headlines in the west. Instead of implying that there is a fixed narrative of anti-x/y/z sentiment you should be highlighting that these values aren’t exclusive to a particular group and we should combat these issues collectively in an equitable manner.
@@n1knak Don't lump Pakistan in with India, it's a whole other mindset. Pakistan doesn't tolerate harassment of religious minorities.
