As a Chinese, our schools switched from British English to American English around 2000 (when I was just in primary school）and I though I speak American English.
Until I found this channel recently and I'm really surprised that although it's kind of a mix, but I actually speak more of British accent than American accent. I can't quite figure out why.

Actually most of people told me that I should learn American accent because it's easer and more useful than british accent
