Madam, I've watched a lot of British-English teaching lesson videos, and I can gladly say that Yours is quite humble and close to our understanding as if you are reading students' souls like knowing where students would make mistake or don't understand.
That’s the most helpful lesson I ever watched listened to. I never found anyone explain the UH sound like this. Thank you and I really really appreciate your efforts here 🙏🏽🌹🌹
This is a great video, very useful tips and a great teacher. I lived one year in the UK, watched tons of useful videos but this one is so insightful. Thanks a lot!
Great quick lesson! I also noticed you don’t pronounce the “T” in the end when the next word starts with a consonant (not sure if this is a rule). For example, when you said “…it was…” and “…about cats…”
Thank you so much Laura for teaching me how to pronounce words with the correct British Accent. I have to practice these important words as you said. You are my best teacher Laura
Congratulations! I have just seen your wedding video in black & white🥳🥳🥳. By the way, great video. Not only are you an observant teacher but you are also a great stand up comedian. I had never heard of the concept of " the mixture of having glottal T and without" before I watched your video. Your teaching experience does make the difference. I honestly really like learning from other people's mistakes. Very practical and very inspiring. 😀
This is a phenomenal video! thank you SO MUCh for explaining the actual physical pronunciations! Like how to skip the R's and say the "OH (uh-ooo)"!! (I absolutely could not crack that -- American here haha.)
Great tutorial. I dont think i learned as easy like that but what i've got was enjoying the video thinking oh i like you the first time i watched you. i'll watch more videos sure..❤
Many of these "master the British accent" videos put a lot of emphasis on learning a set of sounds... That's good, but we also need to learn when to use which sound 😅
Dear Laura, I trust you are well. I like your style of teaching 👍😃 Please keep doing the great work. Thank you 🇬🇧🇬🇧 Have a lovely day whatever you do 😀😎🌞👍
Very helpful 🙂 When you talked about the glottal T I remembered having seen a video by Russel Brand. To my ears it seems that he is extremely overusing the glottal T and I wonder why...
Oh my god. I’ve been living in the UK for 20 years and I still struggle with ‘ths’ and ‘oos ’. im so glad I came across your content. You’ve just changed my life. #Subscribing
Woww ma'am mind blowing 🌸👌 basically I'm from Pakistan and I'm in first semester of bs English but Wana make my great British accent and u r teaching very well .... 👌👌
