Mine does 80 with gear change and new tires and wheels. My tires are the big daddy belted radials. And I also have a racing slipper clutch. I had to modify the shaft. I had to make it flat on both sides for the clutch to work properly. But runs damn good now. Also a better motor and esc will give you way better results
Nice video, amazing results! You my man have thing dialed in. Care to share your secrets on that "slipper" clutch? Your stats show on each run, that Beast is still pulling at the end of each run! Keep working on that slipper, I bet there is a 2.6 in there or better. Congrats Man, impressive!
Thank you no secrets sauce here running all stock electronics turn the punch all the way up turned up the motor timing tight slipper but not to much you want a lil slip 2.8 flat is my pb super happy with that for an all stock setup the car is pretty much dialed in
@@Joercgarage Awesome awesome, I'm torn, I'm a Losi guy from way back, and I'm a Chevy guy, but I'm also a truck guy, and that yellow Ford looks fine! I'll figure it out I guess whether it's the "Z" or the "68 Ford", I'll have one of them, heck maybe I'll just by both... Congrats on the video, awesome work!
Try 22-24 pinion, maybe 75-78 spur. I do know you get bigger changes with pinion and smaller changes with spur changes. But I was super impressed you have that car running straight as an arrow and was able to keep it under control when braking, some excellent driving. I have the DR10 with 3300kv so the changes I mention was for that platform, I going to a Drag Slash or 22S which is faster than mine. The time I spent the money to make mine that fast I could easy pay for the 22S or Slash, the DR10 might become a 13.5 car.
I have heard the Dr 10 is a good platform once you change the electronics but I agree out of the box the 22s is one of the best out of the box drag cars I will eventually move on to better electronics but I still want to see if I can push it just a little bit more before I make that change.
@@Joercgarage Have you used the Spektrum programmer ? I use it on 185BLX, Hobbywing program card on the 100BLX. Anyway you can drive the wheels off that thing, your going to do well this coming season.
but the dr10 has the best chassis setup i bought the castle 4 pole drag motor and 1/8 scale mamba x with a gen ace 6100 130c 2 s dats a bad ass setup… i losi 22s comes n 2 days from now got 1 dirt cheap now dat there discontinued
The car leaving around 1.3gs you should drop pinion teeth your acceleration curve continues all through the power band you want your top speed to flat line right before you finish. Not continuing to accelerate as you finish. Having a 6500kv motor you should drop to maybe 14 or 15t on stock spur.
Hey, nice vid. Did you charge the battery at any time while you're doing your test seems to drop as u go up u should get some type of different reading especially with that battery? I have that and china hobby. Just asking did you do the High Voltage charge on that battery?
you could try that but going up on spur will also slow down your top speed and not necessarily lower your drag hits time ..so its about finding that balance, but i wanted to know if by increasing pinion size i can lower my drag hits time cause we know it will increase my top speed.
Why mess with the slipper? He's driving perfect, you start tightening it up you lose traction and a good chance of losing control. I thought the car was dialed in well he had excellent times and no crashes, conservative on his pinion changes. Personally I would let it slip.
@@murrijuana2842 Let me ask this, do you have DRK or any other esc with programmable stages and launch control or do you have stock electronics and clutch eliminator?
Nice job demonstrating the Losi in detail and providing us with valuable information. Awesome car. 👍👍
Thanks 👍🏻

Thank you for not trying to push supplements like RC Saylors.

Good to know just wanted to see what the stock motor could do
Can charge the battery every pass and let the Esc and motor cool down

All batteries were fully charged and high voltage was high voltage charged gens ace redline gave me the best pass at 2.850 with stock electronics
Awesome content. Killer video. New subscriber here. 👍🏽🔥
Thank you
Nice car.
What Spur gear were you running on ur Losi Camaro?
Stock pinion and stock spur gear
What app are ypu using to record time and speed on the stock set up?? Thank you
Sky rc gnss gps
will be good to see how esc and motor combo increase the speed, and even drag slash is not close
Out of the box I think this is the best drag car rtr you can buy.
I been noticing that you went from 16t to 19t and same results, as your making all them passes your battery is losing voltage ⚡
I was topping off after each pinion change to make sure the results were as accurate as possible
Gear mesh sounds a little tight on video
Yeah I did a lot of gear changes so it was to be expected 👍🏻
i love this car!
This drag car is so much fun 🙌🏻
How many volts is that redline battery 7.4 7.6 15.2
7.6 2s lipo hv
Shouldn't you go down on pinion and up on spur to get them faster hits for drag not speedruns 🤷♂️

Play with the slipper I can hear it slipping
I been meaning to 👍🏻

@@Starkster50 you may aswell have stability control and just the car up to drive itself. Slippers are for kids who can't drive.

Why not 3s
Most clubs run 2s for no prep drag cars that the standard
