A summary from buying to loosing races to figuring it out. This experience has our cars dialed in and we learned that, as usual, RC folks are super nice and helpful.
Some of these mistakes could've have been avoided so watch the whole video and win from our losses!

Careful with the Losi bodies, the Losi drag car is discontinued.

Yeah I just got mine... and can't run it. Don't want to damage the body. Not paying $115 to replace the beautiful body that it came with. Gonna get something else, paint it up... then run the shit out of it!!!
Most def, it'll serve to be a great shelf queen to be appreciated I'm sure.
If I had one, I'd shelf that beauty too. Do up a Pro-Line Cuda (lime green with flat black hood) for example, then I'd probably mock something up like a piece of plywood as a chassis with a couple of threaded rods glued on across for a spare set of drag wheels and come up with something for the body mounts for the Losi body for display purposes only.
What body did you get with the kit? I saved a black ford

*TIRE UPDATE* get the BLUE DOTS they’re softer all around. With some tire sauce and the assistance of a new friend I achieved my personal best with the blue dots
I limited my shocks and I installed the long control arms from a wrecked LOSI buggy set my tires straight up!
OMFG That car went down the track so straight and my fastest time ever! I have eliminated the slipper clutch and changed the gearing!
I’m going back to no sauce and will start logging my times. That sounds fun!!

Wow that’s a smoking deal! Looks like they’re dumping them. I picked up a spare RTR for the motor and esc and will use the radio in a boat I have that needs upgrading. Stuff is cheap. Great buy

Nice video man. I've been tuning my DR10 to race soon. I finally got it running straight and FAST but it took alot of wipe outs. If you want to see a DR10 fly into the air at 60 have a look hahahahah.

2s is all that's allowed in the rule book. Plus the 6500kv motor is not really rated for 3s

They are bead locks and yes no problem when I get a moment from work. I will link them in description once I do that I’ll reply here so you know. Thanks!!!
you wasted you money on the losi 22s! Just put it up and dont spend a PENNY on it...its ABSOLULY useless if you are racing other then box stock. just remember its always funner when u are NOT competing with others, the HOIBBIE of it is fun enough....
ive been into RCs since i was 5 years old and the drag seen is the biggest waste of money i have EVER seen for the random hobbiest. i didnt think anything was gonna be as bad as the quadcopter scene...lolol..never say never..lololol....
That’s what we raced was box stock. Spending money on RC is in support of a hobby which I believe more people need. Wasted money or money well spent, it’s always the later for me! It’s also why I have too many models! 🤣
