Your comment towards the end of you video was excellent. Doing your thing in your corner of your world. I am 68 year old, and at the time in 2020, I was stuck in the house. My wife lock the doors on me. Retired, but found a fun job, because I worked all my life since 13 years old. But that closed down also. My street Rod was also off limit by the wife. So one night, around 2 or 3 in the morning, rooting around youtube about flying RC planes again. Then just happen to see a advertisement about a new RC car coming to this store. ( Amain hobbies ) The Dr10. I must have watch that video ten times. Thought about for about a few days. OK, Iam in. Went online to buy, sold out everywhere. The hunt was on. Found a little hobby shop that had a couple left. Game on. This sport got me hook, line, and sinker. Dr10 in no way perfect, but That's the beauty of it. Using your brain to make it go. Cars in the 60's and 70's kept you on your toes. They had soul. Example=How are you gonna act today, will you start up on the first turn of the key,or etc. DR10, going straight, or all over the place, which tires, what gears, what receiver and etc. Bottom line, back to work, the Street Rod in The garage has not seen daylight since January , but the DR10 seen just about every weekend since April. Building a second one to surprise my 7 yr, old grandson. Will be doing a little bonding with the kid. Like You said, keeps the mind fresh and healthy. Sure there a new Rc on the streets now, and probably better. But I love challenges, of trying to make this thing go, in my little corner of the world. Thanks
with a little work i got my losi down to a 2.5 at 55 mph.. marton bros rims, wide reaction belted tires..but i tried there foams.. it was ok... tried no foams.. the center of the tire wouldn't expand enough.. so i used the blue traxxas foams from the drag slash trimmed them down and thats working good.
I’m doing 2.780 at 52mph Using Reaction tires and a 22 tooth pinion. I love the reaction tires. I Really like your videos And I’ve learned a lot thank you.
What up Earl👊 I noticed something today on my Losi 22s. If the wheelie bar is to high the axle hits the transmission cover. I had to lower it using the linkage right out of the box. Little design flaw. Cant wait for your next testing video bro🏁👊🏁
@@earlmoorhead5555 I’m doing my next hits tomorrow after work, did a pinion change and going to try and hit 50+ on the mickey t’s... 2.86 at 48mph yesterday on stock 16t .
The camber on those rear wheels look setup for a basher. Am I correct about this? And I see it on almost all the speed cars and kits and it needs to be changed! Nice ride brother!
Won’t you get more direct drive from it tune the car from that garuntee you get better times been watching a guy that’s doing this with real time drag involved and he be killing them out here the weight needs to be more from driver side rear then middle of the car I mean it all the same concept just smaller car
@@Dragnssmoke everyone I’ve locked up if not on foam tires or using prep on tire locking the slipper clutch or rear differential on a no prep surface just causes the back to spin around but if you use a prep surface or prep tires or prep foams tires then it’s fine 👍👍but no prep races don’t allow any of that 🤷🏻♂️👍👍💯💯
@@earlmoorhead5555 is that what the no prep part of this really means and I was also wrong he was doing pro mods so it is different I thought it was the same but he does make great sense I will get back to you on his channel name you might already watch him
You should honestly run the body..it protects your important parts..who cares if the body is smashed up it’s better than wrecking the chassis up…idk I just care too much about mine
Plus you wanna test your car the same as it will be when you race..if you test with the body off it might not run the same when you run with the body on..carpet burnouts heat tires up better get them way sticker do a longer burnout then you’ve been doing and play with the slipper you also have to break In Tires they aren’t ready to race out the box
Definitely would like to see the losi with some drag specific electronics like your Tekno set up. Thanks Earl another great vid.

Really appreciate the lessons and knowledge that you add to your videos.
70 weight with adjustable collars work awesome on all four

Yes I raised mine and had issues so I Lowered it back down 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
@@earlmoorhead5555 The wheeli bar is actually a external axle limiter i guess😂
That was a bloody long beep at the white car Earl.Wish we had the weather in England for drag racing.not enough room here on this island.peace
👍👍
In a colder environment jconcepts hotties have been good for me, but many compounds.
Great video !!
Thanks!
When u hit that little bump up it went right.
You're making me want to make my wife really mad at me and go buy a losi 22 now Great video Earl 🔥💯👊
😬😜
Just to let you know, I was able to program my 22S with a Speckrum Smart ESC Programmer V2.
I’ve been watching ever video I can on this particular RC. I got one as a roller a while back and I’m trying to figure the absolute best setup.
Good info!
Definitely going to see a difference with the reactions on it... 💪🏾💯
Yes belted for 50 mph 👍👍soft tires definitely didn’t work up top

Damn it. Now I need a drag car.
I wanted someone to race so I pre-ordered 2 losi 22S, now waiting on 2nd one
Nice 👍
Love the the drag car thanks for sharing bro
Thanks buddy
I like belted tires, just for reliability.
You have good passes if you went to a different location it would let you really connect with car and really let you push it
Hi Earl, Do you full throttle or easy into the trigger on these passes?
Full trigger at the last two passes 👍👍
Losi front steering servo install
The front end bounced two or three times.

Need rear hubs to set to zero there stock right now
Have you seen the fs-gt3b remote my nephew put it on his dr10 says it works great going to try it in my losi 22s
Most aftermarket remote work good if they have mixing on them so you can add your own launch control thru the remotes 💯💯👍👍
That’s like driving a drag car fo real fo real 👀🦴😏🛻😑🤔
What's a good motor and ESC for
Great video
You ever tried foams on the losi ?
I have not 🤷🏻♂️
Back at the chop shop house 🏠
💡 lights camera 📸 action Go 🔋🔋⚡️⚡️🚗💨💨💨💨💨
Which rears r those.?? They have multiple versions of rears wheels to choose from
There only one center design from them these where for a dr10 no light weight but I have light weights on order
Also carpet burnouts gets tires hotter
I shall get me a Losi looks like good fun
Nice test hits bro
Thanks 🙏
what are those rear bead lock wheels your using
Front and rear are marton brother rc wheels bead locks 👍👍
What if you eliminate the slipper and make it straight possi rearend
Car would spin out when you try and launch on rubber tires

Yes no prep means nothing on the tires or surface rubber tires only is the class it make it fun as all cars are pretty much the same 💯💯👍👍
Test N tune time. NO SPEED JUMPS!!!
Right just jumping curb make sure it holds up 😬😜😜

do you have part number for them wheels?

They only make the one wheel set either
Light or normal 👍👍
