It was impressive seeing FelkHeart abuse the charge bonus speed on the Princess to get further away from Karl Franz and then cancel the attack order before landing to keep running. I have never seen anyone utilize that mechanic in that way, well done.

That battle shows why Zintler's Reiksguard are my favourite cavalry in the game. Reiksguard as a whole are great (so much you can do with them and can get out of them), and Zintler's Reiksguard just do it even better. Plus, they look awesome.

That ended up being a lot closer than I thought it would towards the early stages of the battle. I thought Felkon had it in the bag for certain when he cleaned up the first unit of Knights with that pincer and then hammered the rear of the Empire infantry line. Kudos to Nomru for putting up a brilliant effort and managing to stick it out until the end.
the reason for that is simple: HEs are really weak in mp, especially in the later stage of a battle. felkon outplayed his opponent multiple times and it was still a close battle.
i would say that HEs are among the weakest factions overall. i know that for ex. beastmen suck too, but they have a couple really strong builds which you can use against certain factions....pretty much all HE builds are mediocre if not weak 😐

I am glad to report the Princess managed to survive the shot. Also, I would say some Sisters are fired but the Everqueen assured me the Sisters are given extra target practice.

I finally just got a gaming pc that can run TW:W... on Ultra no less. I'm so excited to get all of the DLC and TW:W2. Especially the Tomb Kings DLC, second behind my favorite faction, The Empire.

A nice battle, really highlights Reiksguard staying power. They might not have the best charge, but onlike most shock cav they can actually stay there and finish the job.
Also highlights sisters ridiculous m.def. As long as they have their martial prowess, they have better m.def than sternsmen, who are 1100 gold elite mellee defensive unit =-/

So I've been wondering. How do replays work? It's not a video recording but rather more like re-playing a chess game. The same commands are given to units but just automatically. How does the game guarantee that for instance every single hit is the same as in the original game? Especially in 1v1 Lord duels, where it matters most.
not sure how it works exactly, i just know that it does. the same killing animations and attacks will always happen in the same spot at the same time in game and in replay, as long as there is nothing like a patch or mod that interferes with the replay
Interesting, I do indeed remember having some mods on and replays being totally different but that's logical. Anyways ty for the reply, didn't know that replays play the exact same animations!

carl should have landed a lot more often with rear attacks then backing out instead of chasing dragon and didnt brace spears when they needed to be

Hi guys, does someone know why I can't play the free DLC while using family sharing? I tried it on my little brother's computer and it won't let me play the free DLC, it does let me play the payed ones.. Like that's just so retarded 😢.. Can someone help me?

i watched first episode tonight. wasnt particularly impressed, but it was watchable. will probably watch episode 2 tomorrow. didnt really make me feel anything or get me super excited for the series unfortunately. not bad, but far from great for me

Every time the faction I like loses
I saw a lot of good cav micro, but the infantry micro was much lower in quality. For the love of all that is good, brace your bloody spears for once! Charge defence is a lovely thing, but you almost never see someone setting to take a charge in these replays.

Karl Franz´s melee defense so low, never liked that. Most melee lords have above 50 unless they initially boast a 70+ attack rating like f.ex. Grimgor. In the early campaign a simple Empire Captain can actually defeat Franz in melee.

seriously m8, calling out HEs for being op in this patch must be a damn joke. they are at most a low mid tier faction.
1: Didn't say High Elves were good, just that SoA are op
2: Armour means nothing, M.A, M.D and Weapon Strength are the only factors.
3: SoA can get hammer and anvilled by Chosen and Chaos knights and come out with more hp than they started with, they are a fucked unit.
@@MrBones-td6qn every faction has some good units...they still have plenty of hard counters. cheap bowmen always trade very efficiently against them and any artillery, especially mortar-type artillery will shred them. also, they are pretty pricey.
