    Isn't that much nut butter adding a ton of calories? For recipe 1

      Yes, you're right. Nut butter is pretty rich in calories. I used hazelnut butter, which has about 90 calories per tbsp. Nevertheless, it is also rich in nutrients, such as fiber, vitamins, minerals, healthy fats and protein and therefore has a ton of health benefits. For example, it can promote feelings of fullness and help with weight management by curbing overeating. My goal is not to lose but to maintain. But if you're trying to lose weight you can for sure use less nut butter. ☺
