You can find the backup camera at this link: Backup Camera: amzn.to/3k6tvgz
Affiliate link -- as an amazon associate I may earn a small commission from qualified sales.

The head unit that I am using has it input for a front-facing camera. I put a link to it in the description.

Thank you! (Here at Alpine we like to keep you on your toes by switching up the camera trigger wire color to orange/white instead of purple/white).

Really good install video. I put a backup camera in my 03 Buick Regal more than a year ago and it's very convenient. Helps make sure you're not too close to other cars and nothing immediately behind you.
I have mine turn on when I put it in reverse, but I kind of want to re wire it so I can also use it while driving to see the car behind me better.

That's a good idea. I usually drive older cars because I hate depreciation. This is the first time I've ever had a car with a backup camera, I'll be adding backup cameras to the rest of the fleet now.

@@DIYAudioGuy Some older cars are tanks. This Buick with all the issues I've had with it technically it never left me stranded or failed to start. Except that one time It sat for a year and the battery was reading 0v haha. Though I managed to revive that battery and it started the car that was sitting for a year and didn't hesitate to spin it over. I was more surprised the car started with it only taking a tiny bit longer than normal to get up and run. With old gas as well.

Is it the 3800 v6? I've heard that those are some of the most reliable engines ever made. Every time one shows up on Hoovies garage or watch JR go they mention the reliability.

@@DIYAudioGuy Yes it is. I've constantly heard from a great number of people that the 3800 series is a great engine. Now if only the transmission was half as good as this engine...

The adventures keep coming! Was that an impact or regular drill you were using that was cordless? I like the Size and color of that blue one!
