      I am just addicted to his lectures on Advaitha Vedanta. Initially, I had to watch several times and every time I found something new. Now I have better grasp

    • @ankitmahlawat167
      @ankitmahlawat167 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It means you didn't grasp enough from here. Here it is only about knowledge and how to attain the absolute , people are not divided based on their belief . There is a no religion called Hinduism , to be precise. Hence it is not a religious knowledge where you have to believe. Any one can gain this knowledge . You have to get over belief and question everything , seek for answers , that is how Bharat has been for ages , and i wish it continues to be like this.

    Revered Mahraj ji,
    Sadar Pranam .You are really dear to all and full of bliss Sarvapriyananda !
    Very excellent exposition of Vedanta philosophy with practical examples, like movie and screen or space within the glass. People in Western countries have least faith in God or any sorts of authority. They have rebelled against their own Gods and Western soil is now a barren land having no place for God in day today's affairs. Science and consumerism has dominated their thoughts and they don't seem to be much interested in dry screen of the movie upon which the movie is played. They want to be soaked in movie ! You may have stimulated their imaginations towards huge literature of Vedanta where they might find mind blogging , hair splitting thoughts of Vedanta philosophy!
    Mahraj ji, you have finely explained the differences between Buddhism and Hinduism. Due to science and atheism, Western people have great admiration and attraction for Buddhism, but your exposition of Vedanta philosophy will help them to understand Hinduism and Vedanta.
    High sounding principles of Vedanta philosophy are no doubt very convincing to any person and may be for Western people as well but due to very subtle principles and bold declarations one can hardly fathom these thoughts.
    Until now, Western people have rebelled only against God and all sorts of authority, but they couldn't dare to go forward at the another extreme of declaration that " I am God." This is blasphemous and may invite beheading or a fatwa. Only Vedanta has such courage ! World has yet to fathom these bold declarations.
    Thank you very much for this enlightened lecture. Revered Maharaj, my concerns are personal and may have some others as well like me. Theory and principles may be very attractive but the question is how to realize these ideals? Any person who starts a ventures, keeps in his mind certain clear and well defined goals and timeframe to achieve it. Many times when we read and hear that God realization or self knowledge is the aim of life and watch such lectures like one of yours, it attracts very much but euphoria dies down the next moment. The direction, methods and timeframe, everything remains uncertain. There are many thugs in this venture as well . Only God can save one who is honest seeker. This is my personal dilemma. I need your help and blessings.
    Jai Ramakrishna!
    Regards,
    Ram Chandra Sharma

      Ramesh Devasi sorry to burst your bubble but from what I have seen, he was a fraud and his organisation is even to this day. He was a complete hypocrite. He made big money here. First respected our culture and then decided to go completely against it. Travelled to the west, bought private jets, some 100+ rolls royces'. Until he got kicked out from there. He has no free schools, gurukuls.

    • @rameshdevasi6720
      @rameshdevasi6720 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I don't know why your comment is highlighted but there is very wrong concept of spirituality have in our mind i need to burst that out. Firstly- if a saint have huge wealth he was fraud then i want to remember about raja janak before astavark discourse raja janak was wealthy and after also but something change in him. "The attachment". Before commenting on osho you have to study him first to last dont grow some wrong misconception if you are spiritual seeker you have to see his silence and words not his wealth he was not like vedic scholar you need to be like janak to understand him .... thank u.

      All the brilliant “scientists “ that try to explain consciousness and fail. And they fail because they run up against the limits of the science that they studied. And of course they’re much to proud to try something else because then they would have to abandon their “science “.

    To me, mind( is experience, logic, intuition, intellect, language) which is created by brain. We all know human brain begins to learn from other human beings, surroundings, books, trees, environment, animals, insects, from people they live with etc ( since childhood to adulthood and beyond) and everyday we learn something, see something, experience something. Our happiness and sadness or any other feeling is a direct result of sum of experiences outside our body and experiences inside our body. Again these experiences are created by brain based on outside and inside events.
    Even understanding mind is some function of brain. Understanding this video is a function of brain. Some scientists claim our gut and skin also have memories and that our gut can think (sort of second brain) and some documentaries are out there proving this. (that's another topic)
    So isn't that the brain(s) are experiencing the mind which is experiencing the sensory organs which are experiencing the outside world? So, isn't the collection of my brain, mind, sensory organs is what makes me and others' theirs?
    For me the question is rather "why"? Why should there be or if there isn't any (in that case shouldn't there be) this experience?
    If I am the Atman (the one who is experiencing the mind), then why is there the Atman? what is the purpose of presence of physical beings only to realize something non-physical exists and that is what is the ultimate truth, which is the "true" us are non-physical? Are we saying all that exists is some sort of experience of Atman? if So, why? What is the purpose of other physical beings? Why do they exist or seem to be existing in the experience of Atman?
    Even if we conclude that everyone should realize that their true self is Atman and all Atman are "one" .. the question of "why there is this Atman - pervading , ever pervading" still exists. Apart from silence, I don't see/find any other answer.
