Hearing Vedanta talk is not spiritual fortitude, but luxury. If you are not body mind, then what you are. One may negate eathly enjoyment, but you can not live without earning livelihood. Even Shankaracharya suffered while dying and did whatever necessary to earn his livelihood.
The Nurse is witness of my birth. My Mother & Father themselves told me & dealt with me to ensure that I must know for sure mwho my parents. If third person, books or science tell me about my parents-- it will be futile to believe. Same way, unless God Almighty tells me about me & His relationship ,its foolishness fir me to read books about God to accept. After God tells me, then He will tell me His inspired book sent for me. Only then it must be believed , experienced & practiced. Otherwise its blind faith, pointless.
Swami Ji definitely has a very good intellectual understanding, but he hasn't given any indication nor any declaration that he has fully realized said understanding

One thing that would tense me up as a newly wed was preparing south Indian sambar. Everytime I entered the kitchen....I would pyshe myself but eventually it would end in a disaster. But as i observed my entire process as a third person I knew what made the whole thing go wrong.. Thw first mistake was I was all tensed up about the concept sambar before even getting started. . It was then that I I took a deep breath....brought in some sense of rhythm..did it with all my heart. It came out all right better than alll previous efforts. Slowly I started enjoying , By regular practise and with that a kind of flexibility came to try new ways of improving. Yes it worked. This applies to meditation too!!Involvement, , practice and flexibility takes you closer to truth. From sambar to enlightenment....process is all the same!!!.
Thank You, Swamiji. In the New Testament, it says-Jesus taught with authority (unlike the other teachers of his time). You Swamiji, you teach with clarity. You give life to these ancient mantras and verses. You are the teacher for our times.

Pranam Swamiji, I am curious about this ignorance. How did it come about to be? How did we fall into ignorance? Isn't the root cause of our suffering not ignorance itself but the cause of it - Maya? Again what is Maya? How did it appear to be?
Ignorance is from eternity. When you were born weren't you ignorant of maths/science etc. Hence we are born ignorant. Maya is nothing but Brahman, ignorant perceive it as otherwise.
Swamiji what should be the lifestyle of a married person if he wishes to experience ultimate bliss (brahma/ atma). Doing meditation, spiritual studies , following celibacy and doing nishkama karma is sufficeint. Or any thing more is required. please let me know how i can follow or lead a vedantic life systematically in order to attain moksha, the ultimate bliss.
Voluntarily answering your comments- Upanishads is for knowing yourself. It is about the practice done unspoken. Practise is all in ones hand. Moksha cannot be attained by ones will. We all can make sincere effort towards moksha by following the upanishads teaching to the best of ability and application of one's understanding. One can speak beautifully but person you follow vedanta really does not speak.
No it cannot be.. milk and Amruta are not same... Atma and God different.. atma is purna but paramatman is paripurna.. Shankaracharya come to bring Hindu people back from buddisim to follow vedic culture again but it gave too much confusion to everyone.. if god is same as atman.. why Shankaracharya says 'bhaje govindam moodamate'. why he do pooja then?? it's not right.. we interpret wrongly..
I am bhramhan, I don't need to find myself, then why our purpose of life is to find God ? We are God.... and what should be our purpose of life be ? As a bhramhan, we don't have desires, we don't have any works to do at all, pls help, I'm totally messed up........
We are bhramhan and we are here to experience, and having the awareness that you are bhramhan, gives you the key to now approche the experience of life (as a humain) as a bhramhan now you know you can choose your life and play with it without having all those bad habites and false believes since all this time. lets say now you as bhramhan that is everything just imagine the deepest of everything so why should we limite ourself, there should not be limitation, our thought keep on playing the game that we coz i believe that we are here to experience all this and know we know why we are here and how to play the game with a different view. my thinking :)

Hearing Vedanta talk is not spiritual fortitude, but luxury. If you are not body mind, then what you are. One may negate eathly enjoyment, but you can not live without earning livelihood. Even Shankaracharya suffered while dying and did whatever necessary to earn his livelihood.

The Nurse is witness of my birth. My Mother & Father themselves told me & dealt with me to ensure that I must know for sure mwho my parents. If third person, books or science tell me about my parents-- it will be futile to believe. Same way, unless God Almighty tells me about me & His relationship ,its foolishness fir me to read books about God to accept. After God tells me, then He will tell me His inspired book sent for me. Only then it must be believed , experienced & practiced. Otherwise its blind faith, pointless.

Swami Ji definitely has a very good intellectual understanding, but he hasn't given any indication nor any declaration that he has fully realized said understanding
It's strange how Osho talks about being witnessing the breath, or the watcher inside u, written scriptures were true for them who wrote not for you u've to work on ur own salvation but here base of these monks r vedanta, upnishad I wonder if these people have listened osho ever or they don't want to.
Swamiji How do I live in the world and act and react to low beings who discriminate on the basis of gender, religion,caste possessions.. In abstraction everything seems to be convincing. I may train my mind. How do I act as Brahman?

One thing that would tense me up as a newly wed was preparing south Indian sambar. Everytime I entered the kitchen....I would pyshe myself but eventually it would end in a disaster. But as i observed my entire process as a third person I knew what made the whole thing go wrong.. Thw first mistake was I was all tensed up
about the concept sambar before even getting started. . It was then that I I took a deep breath....brought in some sense of rhythm..did it with all my heart. It came out all right better than alll previous efforts. Slowly I started enjoying , By regular practise and with that a kind of flexibility came to try new ways of improving. Yes it worked. This applies to meditation too!!Involvement, , practice and flexibility takes you closer to truth. From sambar to enlightenment....process is all the same!!!.

I am curious about this ignorance. How did it come about to be? How did we fall into ignorance? Isn't the root cause of our suffering not ignorance itself but the cause of it - Maya? Again what is Maya? How did it appear to be?
Ignorance is from eternity. When you were born weren't you ignorant of maths/science etc. Hence we are born ignorant.
Maya is nothing but Brahman, ignorant perceive it as otherwise.

Swamiji what should be the lifestyle of a married person if he wishes to experience ultimate bliss (brahma/ atma). Doing meditation, spiritual studies , following celibacy and doing nishkama karma is sufficeint. Or any thing more is required. please let me know how i can follow or lead a vedantic life systematically in order to attain moksha, the ultimate bliss.

Voluntarily answering your comments- Upanishads is for knowing yourself. It is about the practice done unspoken. Practise is all in ones hand. Moksha cannot be attained by ones will. We all can make sincere effort towards moksha by following the upanishads teaching to the best of ability and application of one's understanding. One can speak beautifully but person you follow vedanta really does not speak.

No it cannot be.. milk and Amruta are not same... Atma and God different.. atma is purna but paramatman is paripurna.. Shankaracharya come to bring Hindu people back from buddisim to follow vedic culture again but it gave too much confusion to everyone.. if god is same as atman.. why Shankaracharya says 'bhaje govindam moodamate'. why he do pooja then?? it's not right.. we interpret wrongly..
With all that what when hunger thrust sleep stool and urine uarges arise.?

I am bhramhan, I don't need to find myself, then why our purpose of life is to find God ? We are God.... and what should be our purpose of life be ? As a bhramhan, we don't have desires, we don't have any works to do at all, pls help, I'm totally messed up........
We are bhramhan and we are here to experience, and having the awareness that you are bhramhan, gives you the key to now approche the experience of life (as a humain) as a bhramhan now you know you can choose your life and play with it without having all those bad habites and false believes since all this time. lets say now you as bhramhan that is everything just imagine the deepest of everything so why should we limite ourself, there should not be limitation, our thought keep on playing the game that we coz i believe that we are here to experience all this and know we know why we are here and how to play the game with a different view.
