Hey, when you applied what were your predicted grades? Do you think I’ll get an offer if I’m a grade below what they want? x
I applied with A*BC, so realistically yes. If you get predicted AAB you should be fine & if you went to the summer school & got predicted ABB you should be fine. They give out offers for many different reasons including the area you live in & extenuating circumstances. I know a boy who got 4 B’s who does law at uob x

what happens if accommodations are sold out? i wanted to get battery park but it’s all sold out :( is there a way i’m able to still try and get it?
It’s sold out? Yesterday I was at the open day virtually and they said that accommodation isn’t first come first serve and that you put your six choices down and then they randomly select your accom based on the preferences you put
Leilah wait really? well tbh i haven’t actually got an offer yet (fingers crossed!!) but i downloaded some birmingham campus app just to look and i was looking at battery park and it took me to some website called unitestudents and the en-suite rooms were sold out but studios were free :( i was really upset bc in my open day they also said it wasn’t first come first serve
@@cloudgworl That’s probably because battery park isn’t a university owned accommodation. I think there are some people that started uni in January 2021 and so that’s why it might be sold out because they might be the one staying there so they will leave by the time that we start. Check back later on in the year around March because that’s generally when the accommodation for 2021 starting uni students will open x

@@cloudgworl university of birmingham buy all the rooms themselves, if you want to live in battery park you have to apply through the birmingham accommodation portal not the unite students website :)

How is law at Birmingham
I think compares to other universities the work load is not too heavy but it’s a lot of independent work
Omg man all I feel like is you’re talking about if there’s black people there ... I just wanted to see if it was good at this Uni man why do you have to “find you’re people” why can’t you just make friends with whoever no matter what skin colour smg
I spoke about accommodation, the prices and how close it is to the university. I spoke about money management & balancing your work load. Yes the video is catered more to black people because they are a minority in the university which may make their experience different to the majority group.
Of course your white no offence but the UK is 80% white , ppl tend to enjoy working in an environment they feel comfortable in e.g : being surrounded by minorities (just people who look like you.) and who can relate to certain things. Can your simplistic , ignorant mind grasp that?
