A tour around peckham london , commonly known as little Lagos didn't go as I thought. From being excited being here to suddenly being scared . Peckham is a district in south London, within the London Borough of Southwark. It is 3.5 miles south-east of Charing Cross .

Some Nigerians are generous people if not for bad leaders we will have been doing better than where we are today
A lot of Caribbean people love Africa, you're right about this . We cannot forget our roots.😆
🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭
Nigerians are known to be intelligent, educated, hard-working people, and for the “can-do” and “never-say-never” attitude, which is complimented with a friendly and accommodating spirit, Nigeria has the highest number of entrepreneurs in Africa, Nigerian Afro beat genre has seen tremendous international success, Nollywood film globally recognised as the second largest film producer in the world. The only thing Nigeria lack is leadership.
Well said
Very well said….we too much

The woman at Dan & Den store, very respectful and supporting wife.. Tiwa N Tiwa Restaurant is a home from The owner ``Ahaji and His wife Alhaja`` will alway makes u welcome and feel at home.
They a lovely people 😊
I enjoy the food in Peckham, the best Nigerian food outside of Nigeria from my experience. Also, amazing spiritual supplies 😁 colognes, herbs, aguas, native Bibles everything for protection work etc. ASE
There are also other ethnically diverse places in London you should check out like deptford, lewisham, woolwich, thamesmead, Stratford and Tottenham. Make sure you visit these places.
And Barking

Finally, Some content that actually makes sense.. what are other Africans doing or how are there living in the uk, and I mean it with all respect as your host is a very knowledgeable lady with a more rounded understanding of the environment youcalled London..
I still don’t understand why you’ve not been Brixton yet, one bus from Peckham take you to Brixton
I'll visit next time
@@AFRICANTIGRESS there are many interesting places in Brixton but be sure to check out Brixton pop, it a very interesting concept, it’s like a whole food/ restaurant/ chill out space made out of containers.. it’s next to Brixton recreation center.
@AFRICANTIGRESS
I wish you had engaged with other Africans in London. There are other communities doing great things, Kenyans, Zimbabweans, Zambians, etc.
Next time give a shout out so we can tell you. Ty 🌍

@@truezladye1893 100percent correct, specially the Caribbean’s after all we went through before the other community arrived
The make it a little easier you the community’s you see there today..
I real hoped Miss AT spoke with some knowledgeable Afro community’s who can tell you about the so called wind rush generations
Who went through the trails and tribulations to pave the way for the community’s you see today who probably don’t know this type information themselves..
You never truly know a place or it’s ppl without first learning the History or are- story’s.
Beloved African: I like how you captured Peckham. You conversed with the various proprietors and locals. The grilled meat look delectable!
The bus waited for you to cross like a queen on the Zebra. 😂 Naija drivers left the WhatsApp group. 😅
I think say na only me see that 😂
Yeah back where I come from cars actually accelerate when approaching a zebra crossing. Cross at your own peril😂😂😂
Wonderful Peckham video it bought back memories for you from your recent trip to Nigeria 😊
So happy to see that you had a better time on your second visit to Peckham. Being shown around by a local is always better and safer because you get to know more of the real place. Hope you do a video about Deptford because I haven't been there in a long time.
Well, I am pleased you actually experienced the Positive Peckham I told you about when you had that bad encounter during your first visit. Peckham is the place to be when you're in London outside Africa. Thank u so much for your second visit. Am sure you have now changed your narrative about Peckham.
Thanks Again AT. I will never step foot on the streets of Europe so I am seeing the place through your Eyes !!
Much Respect AT !
❤🖤💚
I really enjoy your videos, that pepper suya can only be gotten from northern Nigeria. Nigerians are so industrious everywhere they go. Shout out to all Africans in disapora that're doing great.
Can only be gotten in northern Nigeria?😅😂
You must be from Afghanistan?
Dan and Den Supermarket Phekam ...I can see a strong woman enterprenur. Well done ✅👍

It's always so important to have a local guide!
Professional filmmaker, @motorofilms provided a great impact to the quality and content of this video 👍🏻
Hello A Tigress from ST. PAUL MINNESOTA ❤❤❤
Beautiful, tigress there you go again, show casing different businesses owned by Africans in Peckham, London.
I had a great time looking at this video in Beckham very friendly culture all over in London...
Glad to hear that
Their youngsters need to learn manners, not to put law in to their hands.Assault ,dealing in illegal stuff.

Oh my goodness! I really appreciate and enjoy every moment of the video.
Great video that showed the grassroots folk of London, real conversation and delicious looking food. Well done, keep up the great work.
Peckham has the best amala in London
Is the best Amala in London as good as the worst Amala here ?
The best amala in Nigeria is Ibadan amala- yhe one I ate in Peckham a few years ago on a visit was nearly as good....at least it tasted better than some Lagos amala I've taken....
Thanks for taking us to a journey to Peckham . I love my Nigerians people and also love all other 😊 cultures
Nice one, you are with Nigerians outside of Nigeria Lol
Absolutely nice content. Thanks for the experience... and Big Ups to your Host and Guide. God bless you all!
I'm so glad you returned to Peckham! Lovely documentary - shout out to Hali and the videographer! I'm so glad you now have a more balanced view of my hometown. There will always be contradictions to everything, and, of course, humans are not a monolith. Sending love!

Africans in general are smart and hard working.
Beautiful content thanks Queen

This Tigress, you're too much,, street food is all I eat even when I travel across Asia. I see your channel as a great travel guide. And your hilarious down to earth attitude will take you far. Thanks for all you share.

Hi mary

So cool to see. Much love and respect from las Vegas,nv😊
Great content ❤❤
Wonderful Vlog!!!
Peckham use to be a Caribbean stronghold, especially Jamaica . These people are new arrivals, they don't really know Peckham before 2000.
Used to be, correct but also, still is because Peckham now is cocktail of various cultures that all connect. 😊
@halisexy1 Most of the original Peckham inhabitants have been moved out to lewisham, starting from 95/96. Peckham is nothing like what it use to be, they call the area little Lagos now.
Thought it was Brixton that was more of a Caribbean stronghold before the gentrification..
Carrebean are in Brixton, Lewisham, Catford, Brockley, Ghanaians are in Hackney, Tottenham hale, Haringey, Nigerians in Peckham, Woolwich, Abbey Wood and Deptford, Indian are in Tooting Broadway and Pakistan in East London.

Always posting Nigeria content - seems that is where the traffic is. Great video's big ups!
Benin call it akasan if it wrapped but if liquid we call it ékò
Great content as always Tigres
I did not know snails were popular in Africa, but it does not surprise me, especially former French colonies. In my neighborhood in Chicago, there is a popular Vietnamese- American bakery specializing in French pasteries.
Snails were being eaten before French colonisation
Great video❤
Nice content! Africa to the world
Love this
Excellent job with the video as always!
I however have an advice to give Kola (Suya shop). I do hope you're still within his reach.
He needs to see an occupational therapist or GP. Not sure how the health system works there.
Long term exposure to smoke (as seen with his job) have very adverse effect on his health. He's especially at risk of developing chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. I believe they can guide him on protective measures he can take to prevent all the long term complications that this might cause
I was here last week. Nice place 😊
Great job, as usual. I felt like I was in Peckham. 😆
9:19 Wow, this looks like our dukunoo aka blue drawers /tie a leaf made from cornmeal
African Tigress, thank you, thank you and thank so so so much for what you're doing for Nigeria and Africa.
I'm moved to say that you're second to Wode Maya in the promotion of Africa and Africans to the world. You're a great Ambassador of Africa. Keep doing what you're doing. The sky is your limit. I see you shooting up to the stars of greatness!
Please no comparison... Just appreciate what you like with no comparison. We are on different paths in this life. I'm not in any promotion business I'm here to share my travel experiences and vibe with people
@@AFRICANTIGRESSWhere's the comparison in her comment? Tell me. You simply and intentionally disregarded her beautiful words of encouragement and support because she mentioned the name Wode Maya? Shame on you though..
Why mentioning women Maya here. Drop your compliments and bounce

The council needs to fix up the top of Rye Lane. They've had 30 years to do it yet they sit on their hands. Come on Southwark Council, pull your finger out.
Agnes how are you
Honestly they just keep chopping rents
Please where in Peckham is her shop , I love her narrative and actually learnt some lessons about preservation of Kolaand Bitter Kola. I will love to patronise her shop. ❤🎉❤❤. Aje a ma wa oo. Amin
African tigress I watch you all the time and also live in peckham had I known you were in Kondon I would have liked to show you around. I was so upset to see you being abused and unhappy in peckham and was glad you met someone from peckham to show you there are good people here❤

I am so glad you met a nice lady and things changed. Peckam to me is a no no i had a very bad experience going there and i found the energy very low as has not improved in 20yrs since i know. I pass by car and i can see a lot of shops closed. The Council are not helping to improve i wish that African Lady was in Brixton so i could visit as well the Suwia stall.
Hi how are you
Beautiful Empress African Tigeress ❤️❤️❤️
Patricia how are you
Very niceeeeeeeeeeeee i enjoy this video.
Peckham Rye is the joint🔥🔥
The issue with Peckham is that Nigerians had the opportunity to gain a foot hood in Peckham in the early 90s but due to unnecessary costs flirts other cultures took over commerce there
And so what? Do you Nigerians think you are better than everyone else?
25 years in England never been to Peckham, never heard anything positive from there. 😂Doesn't seems that bad a place after all though. Kolanut is the reason our ancestors did not gel well with cocoa and chocolate, it has exactly the same vitamin and fino as cocoa...lt's bigger, does not need processing like cocoa. The suya guy remind me of a guy on TH-cam that use to run a cooking channel.....❤🙏
That's him. That's his channel
@@AFRICANTIGRESS Ahaha l thought that.He taught me how to cook peppersoup. 🤣🙏
Kolanuts originally flavored Coca Cola.
I love your comment. This is the narrative we want to change about Peckham. It’s an amazing place to be. And we love it 😊
@halisexy1 are you the lady in the video?

Thank you so much Edidi ❤. I truly appreciate
Peckam still a long way to improve it is a bit better but not all that. I had very bad experience in 2022. Still a heavy energy!

Next
Edo or Benin called that stuff “Akasan” not Agidi.. Anyways, great content!
