It’s not just the outrageous pricing, the quality has been terrible for years on jeeps and the dealership and corporate customer service sucks. My wife and I moved on to another company even though my whole immediate family used to work for Chrysler
Me and my wife make well over 200k a year and still wouldn't consider spending that much on a vehicle. What would those payments be? $1200 plus a month....no way
They need to do more than regain consumer's trust, they need to regain the trust of Jeep fanatics like me. And so far, I'm not feeling it. They could knock 50% off the current inventory and I probably wouldn't buy one. They're just not making what I want.

Everyone saying jeep needs to be 50% off to be competitive? Competitve with what used cars from 2016? 10 year old cars? Whos jeeps competitors that are less?
Jeep Wagoneer was built to compete with the Chevy Tahoe, GMC Yukon Denali and Cadillac Escalade. The prices does not undercut its competition. Why spend 120k on a jeep when you can buy a fully loaded cadillac escalated with resale value that wouldn’t loos 50% like the Wagoneer. A used Wagoneer is cheap like 40k to 50k top trims.
My 24 gladiator is junk it has been at the dealership over a month and it's still got a miss fire all the engineer said is for them to keep driving it and monitoring the misfires. Worst purchase I've made didn't even get to 5k miles
I bought a new 2023 Jeep Wrangler Willys with the manual tranny--thinking low-tech, no problems. The clutch had a recall for overheating so the dealer removed the Jeep's OEM transmission skid plate. And when the dealer reinstalled the clutch, they didn't use new bolts on the driveshaft flange, breaking one bolt and not torquing the rest to spec. It cost me $200 to make the repair at another closer Jeep dealer. The original dealer did however reimburse me after I sent them a copy of the bill.
@ Because the repair was done by another dealer, the 2nd dealer wouldn't charge it as warranty work. As the original dealer was about 30 miles away, is why I took it to a closer dealer. Luckily for me the original dealer made good and sent me a check.
I'm paying $740 a month (@ 6% apr) for a $44k 2022 Cherokee Trailhawk (bought 2 yrs ago). It started skyrocketing in late 2021 & I bought before it got much higher... & then they axed the Cherokee itself. I can barely afford it, & refuse to buy anything newer anymore as they further complicate these vehicles and making them breakable within the first 100k miles (with not enough parts made to fix them within normal timelines).
I was shopping for a 4x4, looked at all the lease deals, narrowed it down to Jeep Grand Cherokee, Toyota 4Runner, or Fore Bronco. Bought a used Toyota 4Runner for 21k, a limited with lift kit and all the fun stuff already done. Just don’t trust the reliability of the other two and don’t want to pay 40k+ for a Bronco.
I always thought of my life as a time circle, not a time line since I am seeing the same story over and over. In 1988, I worked at a VW dealership. Most of the customers got turned down for credit at the Toyota store accross the street and just wanted to get into a new car. We had several two year old new cars. I asked management why they just didn't cut the price and move the metal. One manager said he would rather run the dealership bankrupt rather than be "weak." Well, let's just say he wasn't weak. Seeing the same story today.
They need to start dropping the prices on the leftover models. I want to get a '24 Rubicon 392, but the dealerships are not offering much of a discount. The biggest discount I have found is 13% off of MSRP on a '24 392 that has been sitting on the dealership lot for over 5 months.
I bought a brand new off the lot ram 2500 4 door with 6.7 Cummins in 2008 price was 39k. Nothing has changed since. The same trim and everything today is 89k. What’s up with that

I guess I'll keep my '13 JKUR forever. The only new vehicle I've ever purchased. Out the door price in March 2013 was $33k. You can't even touch the most stripped out Wrangler there is for that now - even inflation adjusted. It's just asinine what they did with prices after COVID - because they could.
Be careful when looking at a big item like this "On sale", the banks usually step in and double down on a slightly higher interest rate and they make that back and more in the long run.
Definitely need price and packaging refinement. Even for the last generation Grand Cherokee, you could only get the premium sound system if you got the “sun n’ fun” package, which included a sunroof and maybe some other little things. I don’t care about a dang sunroof that’s going to leak, I just want my beats! They need to offer more base models again, or base models with core essential groups.
For 2024, base Rubicon 6 speed manual is 4,500 pound tow rating. Rubicon 8 speed auto is 7,000 pound tow rating standard. It has higher capacity alternator and radiator standard.
For the past 20 or so years, auto makers have been offering vehicles with too many standard features, causing prices to be going up at a fast pace. Even though we live in a time with lots of tech and comfort, there's still many buyers who don't need so many standard features. Some buyers who appreciate Android Auto and Apple Car Play don't even need so many standard apps.
My wife and I bought a '23 Grand Wagoneer this past May. It wasn't cheap but we got a really good markdown. I didn't pay a lot of attention to what we were buying afterall it was to be my wife's car. I thought it was a '24 with the Hurricane motor. As I said it was a '23 but we wound up with a 6.4 Hemi. She was happy so I am as well. Really a very nice car with all the bells and whistles. Lots of power yet gets decent gas mileage, the engine doesn't have to work very hard to do anything it is asked to do.
It's more of the dealership fault. I bought a used 2015 Jeep Wrangler rubicon. I tried to lower the price, and he said there were no discounts. Why? Because he said I don't need a jeep, I want a jeep. So I bought one somewhere else at a better price.
Being a Jeep guy all my life and all wranglers, I cannot believe the price of the jeeps a 390 to 2 years ago was about $78,000 and now it’s over $100,000, $78,000 is too much money but over $100,000 is totally insane come on jeep get with it, I could understand a wrangler being upwards of up to about $60,000, after owning 17 jeeps I’ve now gone to Ford bronco I got a good deal, at times I miss jeep but they’re too much money for what you get and it’s totally insane I also on a 2023 ram 3500 that was almost $90,000 and I needed it for work it was an emergency I can’t believe I paid that much for a truck it’s completely changed my way of thinking of vehicles now in the future since I replace them after so many years and now I’ve worked so hard for what I have I need to hold onto them longer and it’s a bad time if you have a vehicle resale value on used vehicle has dropped drastically don’t even consider trading a vehicle and you won’t get hardly anything it’s not worth it anymore, You might as well keep what you have and maintain it especially if you’re a mechanical person
it's great to talk pricing. no questions on GW. But the wrangler is uncompetitive vs the bronco. they need to do something with that issue and drop the GW. Their other issue is problems. not unique to jeep, but many new models are breaking down in the first 5,000 miles. repeatedly. GM Tahoe/Silverado and Caddy xt4 seem to be most prone. 4xe and others are having major issues quickly after delivery
some of the pricing on certain vehicles its getting out of hand BUT I'm honestly starting to think that the group of people that don't want anything that's nicer than a base model vehicle to be priced out of their reach is starting to get bigger .. basically asking for a top trim to be 50K just because i don't make enough to afford it .
My boss owns a 2023 Grand Wagoneer Series 3 with the Hemi engine. He traded a 2022 Escalade for the Wagoneer because of engine and transmission problems with the Cadillac. He loves the Wagoneer and it is gorgeous inside.
They really should cut the prices across the line up by half. That’s how overpriced these mediocre vehicles are. The discounts they have made will not move their inventory period.
They should also include all of the safety features that are basic on 25k vehicles on higher trims. Eg: I get get adaptive cruise control and lane centering on the cheapest models from almost all other manufacturers, and even their Compass, Renegades, etc. Want it on a Gladiator or Wrangler? You're having to jump up to nearly 3x the price, even though the bottom MSRP's aren't that far off. For SAFETY features. Terrible decision-making all around. They also need to impose ethical standards on dealers like Subaru. Looking for buy a Wrangler or Gladiator on the east coast and have only found 1 out of about 25 dealers contacted that actually honors the prices on their website. If Jeep is offering 10k of incentives, dealers are adding 8k of junk fees to every vehicle. No trust can be rebuilt without fixing their dealer ethics issues.
I have no problem with Grand Wagoner selling for big bucks, Jeep wants some of that Caddy Escalade ( forgive my spelling ) money. But the problem is they did it across their entire line, that’s a major problem.
I don’t mean any disrespect but I’m tired of hearing the market is crashing. TH-cam has been saying this for almost 4 years…..and prices are still going up.
The Grand Wagoneer should have been a Chrysler because that is their luxury brand. I am not sure what they would call it if it was branded as a Chrysler, but it would make more sense than Jeep. Jeep is the blue collar off road brand, not a competitor for Lincoln. Either way, the price of $120k+ is ridiculous.
There are over 20 million millionaires in the USA, and many more with high salaries. And then the billionaires, a few who might purchase a Jeep for the fun of it.
Jeep products have become too large. I have a 15 Cherokee Trailhawk with 188k miles with a N/A V6. The size and capabilities are much like my all time favorite 2004 Grand Cherokee V8. Jeep no longer makes a product to affordably meet my needs.
Restoring consumer trust is EASY. Build a reliable vehicle that the average person wants and can afford. Stand behind it when you screw up. And ditch the Stellantis name asap in North America.
Why would anybody buy a Jeep grand Wagoneer at over $120,000 and have a subpar experience when you can buy a Cadillac Escalade or Lincoln navigator and have a premium experience makes no sense, the branding issue at Jeep is immense they need to get back on track
For me , because of inflation, i don't mind the price. BUT if i were to pay a lot for a car, i want my car to be reliable, and NOT having to go to the service center many many times, after all im paying A LOT of money 💰 💰 💰 for a NEW car .
If you need a car or you’re rich, go buy one no problem. If you’re the average, hard-working American, try to make your current vehicle last because the only way they’re gonna lower the prices is if their inventory backs up and people stop buying these overinflated priced vehicles. When their vehicles are not selling, they will do something about it.
They still don’t get it that Americans are fed up with their way overpriced built junk and don’t want a mortgage on a car for 7 years where insurance and maintenance eat away at your life. And the govt has to quit demanding more and more safety items that inflate the cost😢

390 horsepower 1 it a true 6PACK not that hurricane crap and 2 those 440 put out between 490 to 510 foot pounds of torque😁
With the pending wave of inflation, Jeep should do a 50% off sale for 1 month to clear out the lots.
The wagoneer is by far the most overpriced vehicle with the least value on the market .
I dunno. Jeep left me a long time ago.
I don't see any way back.
Really, they never knew there was a problem. It's called greed and they knew there was a problem and they never cared about it.
Talked to female owner of grand wagoneer, when they just came out, told her she would regret buying over the Cadillac for the price …
I have no problem with Grand Wagoner selling for big bucks, Jeep wants some of that Caddy Escalade ( forgive my spelling ) money. But the problem is they did it across their entire line, that’s a major problem.
Speaking of Demons. Why haven't you done a video about the recall for them? Sounds like you had that issue. 🤔
Paying more for less is the byline for modern times
Living in lala land may be fun for a little while, but it bites in the posterior in the long run.
Jeep needs a 20 year unlimited miles warranty (full warranty) for them to justify their prices for their reliability record.
Ford will have to follow especially with the bronco. Wildtrax fully loaded at launch w a s 57k now a couple years later 72k same exact spec
I don’t mean any disrespect but I’m tired of hearing the market is crashing. TH-cam has been saying this for almost 4 years…..and prices are still going up.
Drop the 4500 auto trans charge to 1500. and stop charging for every little thing.
Not a lot in here about Jeep Wranglers…which is where Jeep’s DNA started
Man I wouldn't pay the taxes to get that Jeep crap, yet alone the stupid price.
Yes...they'll reduce prices...but still have that high apr
gaining customer support by increasing prices ... good job ..
Yesss I’m with you Racer X
I wanted a new Rubicon fully loaded loaded like my 2014. It was 76 thousand!!!! Insanity
It really is crazy that there are groups of Americans out there that bought those jeeps over 100 K and justified it just because of the price.
There are over 20 million millionaires in the USA, and many more with high salaries.
And then the billionaires, a few who might purchase a Jeep for the fun of it.
Not dropping in my area
Squeeze the balloon here, push the air there. I was thought this trick by my aunt!
I know of 2, 4 door 2023 wranglers for under $29k and one just over $31
heres hoping i can get a good price for a 20th edition 392 wrangler
Why would anybody buy a Jeep grand Wagoneer at over $120,000 and have a subpar experience when you can buy a Cadillac Escalade or Lincoln navigator and have a premium experience makes no sense, the branding issue at Jeep is immense they need to get back on track
Well not at Toyota dealers, 2025 4runners parked up 5 - 10k with silly accessories
Not low enough for me to trade in my 2018 JKU.
I wouldn't pay 2 cents for a hurricane v6
Only time will tell. Hopefully it’s not to late
Overprice by 30k, then offer a 3k rebate. Thanks, I'm good. Obviously it means more to you than it does to me. GLWS.
