      Hi Marcus, thank you for watching HCS and it's great to see that it helps you to teach your family and friends. As for the Pass line bets, we don't play pass line bets because it is a "contract" bet and cannot be removed when needed. The place bets give us opportunity to remove our bets or regress.

    You should have an HBE of 4. If you use the higher spread. Typically you would have a 3 to 1 ratio. $25 on the 5 ,and $30 on 6&8 to make each hit worth $25 on those.

  • @barkman1739
    @barkman1739 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I find the HBE interesting, but I think you may need an additional criterion for strategy evaluation. Perhaps you already have one, I’m new to the channel. My proposed metric would be “rolls per hit.” For example, if you’re just buying the 4/10, HBE would be 1 (well, less the vig). But you’re only likely to throw a 4 or 10 1/6 of the time whereas the iron cross pays out every roll besides 7. If you look at HBE x RPH I guess you’d call this new product “rolls to break even.”

    I press the field win a couple times and then collect some of the field win. 5,6 or 8 still gets a 11 dollar win no matter how much is in the field. It gets me to casino money quicker. The presses get big sometimes but 3 field numbers in a row seems to be the average maximum field hits before 5,6, or 8 hits.

    What I don't understand is that many of these dice videos have parts where they are talking about one aspect of the game. Betting, bankroll management, dice setting, etc. In this video it discusses betting strategy. Shooter grabs two dice shakes them up and tosses what would be from 'stick left' to the left end of the table. Not realistic to say the least. It seems we want to segment the game, vice put it all together as it would be at the casino in a real game. "Live roll" is actually if someone doesn't know what they are doing. If that is what we are trying to represent. It's a waste of time to show a strategy where most likely the '7' will come up before making any profit or breaking even.

    • @HawaiiCrapsShooters
      @HawaiiCrapsShooters  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you Kelly for taking the time to write your comment. My purpose for this video is to give the beginner craps player a simple basic strategy to learn and then translation it to a more practical way of playing it. When your learning an new game you always start with the fundamentals. Without a solid foundation any layers above that would fall. A well rounded craps player understands all strategies and tweaks it to make it better and profitable.

    Let's be honest, table games are the most intimidating for most beginning gamblers. Losing money in front of strangers while making mistakes in the game isnt a good way to happy, profitable gambling sessions. If you're a beginner, the best way to learn craps is try and relax and to lose some money playing. Period. Start slow, dont be afraid to throw the dice, we've all tossed them off the table many times too, play only one or two numbers to start in the COME bets or PLACE bets if you arent the shooter. Also, ASK THE DEALER(s) FOR ADVICE and tip them a buck or two when your number(s) hit.
    AND ATTENTION ALL BEGINNERS!!!Money flies around a craps table, literally, as do the dice. So keep your fucking hands back of the rail at all times unless you're QUICKLY putting money down for your bets OR picking it up when you win. Otherwise, act like there's a shield that prevents you from reaching in/pointing at stuff! Everyone will love you for this one little fact!

    I do not understand why people don’t work on the come out. The dice don’t know it is a come out roll. It is a wasted roll.

    • @HawaiiCrapsShooters
      @HawaiiCrapsShooters  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Dale, you are 100% correct however there are dice controllers who set the 7 and increase the odds of a 7 coming out. Those are the shooters you only need to avoid but you don’t know if they are setting the 7 until their first throw. If I know my friend does not set his dice on his come out, then working on the come out would make sense.

      @@HawaiiCrapsShooters I enjoy your videos. I run a similar iron cross sometimes. 25 on 5, 30 on 6&8, 15 field BUT I lay the 10 for $200 to protect from the 7. Sometimes I will put $25 on the hard 10 so only the easy 10 can hurt you. If I get an easy 10, I put it back up and go $110 inside. Only takes a few hits to get your money back. If 10 is the point and it gets hit, I see how much I have won, subtract it from $200 and put it on the DP. Sometimes if a 10 is rolled I will put money in the DP to cover after a 7 or a point is rolled. Hope you can decipher my gibberish!

    • @HawaiiCrapsShooters
      @HawaiiCrapsShooters  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This is great advice and what I myself truly believe. Not many craps players know when to pull their bets and to quit and feel that every roll will be that monster roll. It's easier said and done though. Vegas has so many distractions to lure the player to continue to play and that discipline is really hard to do but the ones like you who can do it, are usually the winners in this game. Thank you.
