I feel this! I still remember that Mario episode where Dan was signing Heat of the Moment. I actually bookmarked the episode with the timestamp to keep listening to him sing it. Then when they did an official NSP cover, my heart melted. I was so happy.

Dan has a shockingly good voice. Like his range is very good, and his accuracy is on point. Also the production and mixing in his songs as well as Starbomb and NSP is amazing.

I think honestly, it's the fact that he has not perfected his voice not even close yet. And people seem to be drawn to a more "amateur" voice like one of your friends that can kind of actually sing, or a family member that surprised you with his voice. It's kind of like that. A large part of what makes this so enjoyable for me is knowing the kind of person that Danny is. He's not some arrogant pop star singing for money, he doesn't care about money. He's just singing because he loves to sing and it really shows. He puts so much passion into everything he does, even dumb rap songs about Castlevania and Zelda. Sidenote, that second "YEAH!" harmony fucking destroyed me.

I think honestly, it's the fact that he has not perfected his voice not even close yet. And people seem to be drawn to a more "amateur" voice like one of your friends that can kind of actually sing, or a family member that surprised you with his voice. It's kind of like that. Gives you that chills feeling when they hit it right. But still amateur. It's different.

Because of all those starbomb songs I've been listening when I was down on the dumps, Dan's voice seems to become a soothing nostalgic sound to me. I can't be the only one feeling this right?
A large part of what makes this so enjoyable for me is knowing the kind of person that Danny is.
He's not some arrogant pop star singing for money, he doesn't care about money.
He's just singing because he loves to sing and it really shows. He puts so much passion into everything he does, even dumb rap songs about Castlevania and Zelda.
