Just wanna say, I love that the first game you demoed was NFS Underground. Easily my favorite racing game of that generation. Also, you know, amazingly tiny awesome portable. But that NFSU though. :D

Consol take too many amperes. External power supply only.
if they absolutely had to, they could use a portable power bank.

How do you feel having that 12v USB charger laying around the house? What went into creating that? Did you put a new end on the cable, or put a new cable on the adapter?

With my 12-volt charge, I feel the same when using the gamecube gamepad.) This is better than 45 minutes gameplay and 2 hours of charge. Heavy weight of batteries and big dimension makes the gaming process not comfortable.
In the adapter I replace only connector.

Hi nikoil i wanted to know how much would it take to make a gamecube portable for myself since ive watched and looked at everything of making these and its just so expensive at about 400 dollars to make one so if you could help me at how the smartest way to make them and the cheapest with it being completely portable like a ds thanks👍
If you are looking for an easy, fast and cheap way - gamecube portable it's not your way! When I started make GC I thought I could do it for $ 600. I was wrong.)

Yes it possible. Need 12v 2.2a battery or you can use it with car charger. But why do you need it?

You could solder straight to each button contact on the GameBoy and connect the wires to the target buttons on a controller.
