It's a shame that Nintendo won't localize this game. They are loosing out on money. I played the fan translation of it. I'd still buy it if it comes out, hopefully enough sales would push them to make a fourth game or remake EarthBound or something.

Nintendo are such dicks about the Mother series. Did you know that they actually did end up localizing Mother 1? Yeah, but for some ungodly reason they only released it on the Wii U Virtual Console, so barely anyone got to play it. No 3DS or New 3DS VC release, and no release on the Switch's NES featured games yet. So stupid; they've already done the work, why not put in on those other consoles too? I assume they were trying to make it a reason to get a Wii U (weird as that sounds), but now that the Wii U is thoroughly dead, can we please get it on some other consoles? And Mother 3? Please?

Weeeeeell, you got it about half-right for the SNES Mini. Only 21 games are officially available for the Mini, and the only JRPG that's missing is _Chrono Trigger._ You completely missed _Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts,_ and _Kirby's Dream Course_ (don't ask me how that ended up on the Mini), and I don't think anyone actually expected Star Fox 2.

Maybe they're not even needed. The Switch has Gamecube controllers available and the joy cons can do what the Wii remotes did. Essentially you could just release some ports of iconic games as collections for the Switch. But if it makes Nintendo more money as classic versions I wouldn't be surprised to see them down the line.
I think Nintendo should just stick with the cartridge based consoles rather than disc game consoles

Melee and Link to The Past could have fit in those two empty spaces! Melee is Nintendo's most successful Esport and the Gamecube's legacy, and LTTP is considered by some to the the best game of all time ( like Game Informer)! You should have made an exception for those two games.
Game Informer also put Sonic 1 on their Top 300 Games of all Time.

I'm so happy that Scott choose Ogre Battle 64 as part of the list, it is such an incredible game that gets talked about not at all.
gamecube classic should include pokemon colloseum in my opinion
martine wærås guessing it got skipped because he chose gale of darkness and they’re pretty similar that said still have my copies. I consider them some of the best pokemon games ever released though
I think Gale of Darkness is much more consumer friendly. I am honestly surprised he added Revolution on the list for Wii. I recall PBR to be a terrible game and it would likely be useless without having access to your own team since you have just 2 boring rental passes and the selling point of the game was playing online on the big screen. Also unlocking items for the DS games which likely won't be supported.
On the GameCube classic, you forgot Pokemon Colosseum. I would rather have that instead of XD Gale of darkness at least.

I actually really liked Castlevania on the N64 when I was a kid. It was so tense playing that game. It required the save pack which I didn't have so every time I booted it up I had to start it over and would get as far as I could in one play session.
