instead of reversing the animation in post, i want to know how to turn the vertex map from yellow to red again.. i want the vertex map to change like a looping animation. how to do that?
I have a bonus lesson on my patreon, but I can't remember if I talk about the seams. But there are definitely some useful lessons about the new cloth engine👍
Once again, excellent tutorial! Without Octane , you can use the vertex map effect as a texture in the alpha channel on the "infected" material. I made a pumpkin rot and ooze to the floor....with the second material as darker version . Yeah, the new cloth engine is off the chizzam .
Hi there, I was wondering if you would know why only the yellow part of my object does the cloth animation even though it grows up my object? Spent ages trying to figure it out but I am stumped. Thank you
Sadly I don´t know why this happens with your simulation...sometimes cloth is still a bit buggy...Sometimes I have to delete the tags and do it again and then...it works...
Hi, thank you so much for this tutorial !! Quick question, at 8:17 you mention the lines appearing on the mesh after remeshing the object, besides increasing the mesh density, what would be a good solution to completely remove those lines ? I have been stuck and researching for hours how to do that, but couldn't find anything. Any idea ? thanks again for the tutorial, really great one !
Not much you can do because if you are using a UV-mapped texture, you can try using a procedural texture, so it's applied to vector coordinates. Or you could subdivide by hand, but this will work only if your mesh has a good topology.
How can I prevent the entire object from becoming a cloth? for example I have a rigid object bullet tag on some objects so they interact with each other but I also added a cloth tag which I controlled with a vertex map on mix animation, but whenever the vertex map field animation happens, the whole object becomes a cloth rather than only the vertex mapo section, so it looks a bit weird. 😭
Hi Marimar, sadly I can't answer in full detail to your question because I'm in the middle of client work. Maybe you could ask people in the facebook maxon group🔥🙏. Good luck!
@@3DBONFIRE You may need to set the language and subtitle authentication to English before the video is released, which will automatically start translation, thank you very much for your video production!😆😆
If your object its falling when you add the cloth tag press Ctrl-D and turn off gravity in your scene 🙂
best comment
Thank you!!!
what if i turn off gravity but the object still falls?(
Tis is rocking
Ich finds richtig sick, was du hier in regelmäßigen Abständen rauspustest! Danke für die stets qualitativ hochwertigen produzierten Tutorials dazu :).
Danke für die freundliche Anerkennung, mein Guter👍😉
Amazing tranformation....:)
Amazing my dude

I finally figured this one out
I think I shared it the next 'looks like houdini' tutorial in my channel
hi! do you maybe have an extended version of this tutorial? I'm wondering how you keep the seams when the chair inflates

cool tutorial :) is it possible to maintain the original UV coordinates when you remesh the object so the texture still fits?
Thank you. I need to research this, I don't know it right now

love your tutorials mate 😍
Thank you😉🔥
Thanks for the tutorial! The new cloth engine is great!
Yes, it is a big improvement 💪

that's actually amazing!!
Haha thanks ⚡
Great tutorial, Im just hopping from 2D motion graphics to 3D Mograph now, confused about which software to start, C4D or Maya? pls guide
The learning curve for cinema is very small in my opinion super powerful tool thats easy to use
Oh yes, definitely Cinema 4D. In one week you can already do amazing stuff
great job mate !
Thank you very much

Damn son!
Haha, yeah. I hope you like it👍💪.
Nice! Any idea how to fix the errors with the UV after remeshing? The strange seams it creates
Sadly it was just an example and I havent invested time to solve this issue...
evertime I put the vertex map in the mix material and try to render it crashes c4d, any idea how to fix this?
same here, did you find a fix?
@@420xantron had to update to a newer version of octane
very nice tutorial! Please help me, i cant turn off gravity and the object falls(
I think you need to go to the projectsettings and set Gravity to 0
Enjoying these videos, subscribed. Apparently Maxon are giving us another new C4D update - new features - next week!
I appreciate it, that Maxon pushes the interesting stuff with 2023 and 2023.1
I'm curious to do this in houdini... Where I can find the 3D model of the chair ?
The site poliigon has some great chair models
@@3DBONFIRE Thanks!
Would this also be possible in R26? I dont have the mix animation tab :(
I'm not sure...I think they continued to implement these options in 2023...not so sure, how to do it in 26😔
✨ Do you render on your machine? And if so, what are your PC Specs?
💥💥💥💥good! But unfortunately without subtitles, this will look a little difficult
Oh...I thought TH-cam generates at least english subtitles automatically...
subtitles in which language would you need...?

ganz sick broski
Danke dir vielmals, Bro🍻
I turned off gravity and my object is still falling
project - simulation - scene - gravity (dont use bullet tab)
hello, why I have no possibility to subscribe on your patreon from Ukraine?
I have no idea my Friend... Can you write a mail to patreon support? Or should I ask them, what the problem is?
Ok, but houdini still waaay better.
😉...you are right, houdini is just incredible and i deeply admire what houdini-artists are capable to do.
Requires a PHD to use that software 😂

But then what are you doing here? 🤣
