Hey Tacho defensive specials ignore Laguz Friend 4's conditions. The special condition is based on having a damaging special thats 3 cd or higher. Defensive specials get it for free.
While not quite 100% synergistic, this [Foe Penalty Doubler] support pairs wonderfully with Fallen Linus, allowing him to cover and further penalize both bonuses and penalties on the foe, creating ridiculous stat swings
So fun fact besides the ruse skills, i have all the fodder needed to make every build on Lloyd, and I an cause damn one of my favorite Villians mixed with amazing art and PURPLE, yes please

8:15 I thought it wouldn’t matter if he had slaying here since you’re using Godlike Reflexes with Laguz Friend. Isn’t slaying just better here since there’s no point in running No Quarter and Laguz Friend? Can’t you also do Marth ring and swap out the C skill?
Ike ring still give a lot of non-piercable DR%, so its probably still better than Marth ring. But if you wanna use Marth instead, swap Time's Pulse for Atk/Spd Pledge
i wouldnt mind building him as i just finished ninja saizo, but i have a lot of built up red units and idk if i need to have another one… i’ll think about it. but if i do, definitely taking that atk/res ruse 4 build
If Limited Hero battles didn't exist, I would've skipped him because I have Mia as my god sword, but because they do, I'm considering. That's the only reason I bit the bullet and built Lumera, purely for Limited Hero battles.
Just now realized that F!Lloyd is essentially f2p Gregor but better..meanwhile it sucks to see one of my husbandos get shafted like that, can only hope his future refine takes some notes from this.
I wanna build him so bad, but I’m SO backlogged on my grail units that I had to write a list to organize them. Currently I’m still trying to merge MUARIM (yes that’s how backlogged I am) and I haven’t even gotten Linus merged yet. We really need more ways to get Grails.
Always waited for the resplendant to build him, guess I don't have an excuse now, and he is extremely good with my max investment Prime Mauvier. I think I still have some Wind Claude to fodder
It depends on what mode you want to use him in. For arena, he works great with NY!F!Kana who has Atk/Res Ploy 3 and High Dragon Wall. For everywhere else, he should work just fine with generally any good support unit
Me seeing on feh reddit that it's unanimous that people don't like his weapon, and even calling F.Linus mid.....really XD? What skills and non-merges are they giving them LMAO?? Like before Linus was even in the grail shop I used him to consistently defeat F.Byleth when she first came out. Like oh my God, he can't defeat Emblem Like, he's traaaaash. Linus still puts in work in the arena. Like these 2 are clearly Arena units. AR and SD is just iffy cuz all the rampant DR piercing and the fact you can't hide really well or bait enemies.

Budget use on my end. I just built up my Lumera because of Limited Hero battles.
However he is still very good! And a f2p blessing!
Probably going for Lloyd as my next grail project, he looks awesome!
I’m gonna build him just for the art alone. He’ll also be my first +10 grail unit (once he gets into the grail shop).

Oh, I missed out the % stat stacking effect. He's definitely worth building now. I hope to get both emblem units on the next rerun.

I have so many merge projects in mind so odds are I’ll use him as fodder via his prerequisite b skill but I also wouldn’t mind using him on budget.
