P30PRO for me. No.1 low light photos & zoom, wide angle,super macro, best aperture mode, best in class 1080p video, AI dual video recording, Portrait video, AI colour mode,..... Natural colours -default mode Little vibrant colours - Master AI More punchy colours - Vivid mode Full control - Pro mode B&W, Splash, Underwater, Light trails, silk water,.. List goes on & on. Only thing that I don't like in P30PRO is high over saturation in 4k Video. EIS and front selfies & HDR in P30PRO are also a lot improved
Pixel size of P30 Pro's main camera sensor is 1micron technically & 2micron when using quad bayer array system(which is used in this photo) and main reason for this natural DOF is 1/1.7inch sensor & that too with F1.6 aperture....
The reason the p30, p20 and mate 20 phones blur out edges of subjects in close up photos is because of the sheer size of the sensor being enormous for a smartphone hence a hardware induced bokeh. It had nothing to do with the software
It's the best answer I read on all the websites, not even the same guys from Huawei answered that way, it was also the first thing I noticed when I first approached the P30 PRO and it caught my attention, I thought it was some software error, but it has a lot of coherence what you mention, maybe it is a "real" bokeh effect due to the large size of the sensor

I don't know about you .... but in a glance pixel 3 xl just slays the other two in most cases🤙🤙. People don't pixel peep to see if the edge detection is 100% accurate!! Guys be realistic, put a poll on social media and see who wins..... As far as I'm concerned the pixel 3 xl is better among the three. At the end of the day you need the best looking shot. (assuming that the best shot is not drastically different from the original scene... 😅). And who. in the world is gonna use 10x & 50x zoom to capture their own pictures. And those are the scenario where most of the pics are taken like in party, restraunt, indoors at home, in the garden there's no point in buying this unless that issue is fixed

Pixel has the best overall.. just dont go for photography ..when you show people results of videos took in pixel they wont believe the image .. also XS very well with 2 camera... Ofcourse you put 10 cameras with 40mps that gonna win by an inch pixel difference cc
11:29 obviously all went shit there even the iphone, so the dynamic range was pretty much similar in that situation. but u said iphone did really great which obviously It didn't do much than the other phones. I said overrated in therms of Dynamic Range in some cases other phones do better..
fornt camera video and photo and live focus fornt camera is better on s10 and low light...ultra wide....day light picture is equal and somethimes is better on s10 plus...
i prefer pixel photo and iphone video while the ios feel and stock andriod is another thing p30 is not good as they are..while Huawei fans get burn please used some huawei phone then switch to flagships you'll get your answer
There're tons of disappointment in this phone P30 pro, i agree it took best xtreme low light pic wtih more detail but in medium lowlight or normal daylight .. it's not good enough imo. Even a S8/N8 Gcam port can beat it in medium lowlight and good light (I owned all 3 phones). Zooming also a big big thumb up from me, just when i took the moon shot both pro mode and night mode it's actually lost to normal shot + AI mode on, it's strange but after some research i know more about machine learning of Huawei's AI .. other than this issue i love this zoom features i can do many creative things with it. Wide angle camera is .. garbage in term of dynamic range and Details. I have to delete most of the shot because of overexposed light and use main camera instead. Point and shot on this phone .. is very hard if u pixel peep u can see .. motion blur.. even in goodlight wtf and have to shot again and again to get good pictures. The color correction or whitebalance is very bad also. most of the time its not correct as my eyes can see. The selfie camera .. is a disaster ! way way too soft and lost all the detail, even more horrible in lowlight. after using google camera i cannot use this trashy selfie cam. The super macro shot is amazing thought, i love it. The last thing i notice is Super Slow motion 960fps .. is not real ! it's upscaled lmao. (other disappointments are not camera for example : There's no stereo speaker, only 1 speaker at the bottom > big thumb down from me. OS is kinda buggy with smart flip cover, sometime it wont show AOD)
